How to pivot in backswing. People have no clue how to pivot properly. Ground reaction force ZERO!

Learn to properly pivot in your backswing to make your swing more consistent. Too many people hips slide or upper body sway and lose the ability to make consistent contact or generate much power.

100% agree…earlier on my career I didn’t stop it as much, didn’t focus on it as much because abuse I wasn’t as clear with how to help people stop the sway and over active slide! There is definitely some lateral in the swing but its positive towards the target to change direction in transition Not away from the target in the backswing! Thank you for your comment

Thank you for your comment. Often, it’s a trigger move like left , right left foot pressure?!!! It’s more about pressure in the feet and not any major movement. People will point out the trigger itself but I’m being honest it’s being connected to the ground. So In summary, it’s probably feel some pressure in the lead ball of foot increase then use the ground from the trail foot earlier in transition. I believe your question is excellent and has a dynamic, abstract answer NOT a concrete one. Sorry, just trying to answer your question honestly and using words to describe a sense of using the ground to trigger the swing! Cheers

Yes absolutely! The head and neck are slightly behind the ball because the ball position is more forward in stance to help catch the ball after the low point and hit slightly up at impact! Stay on top of your body is not the same as staying on top of the ball!
