I’m working on similar goals. I need to remember that the things I’m working on aren’t “one and done” checklist items. Like, I don’t learn a thing then check it off the list and never revisit it again.

Exactly! I keep these main components and revisit them all the time, constantly learning more about Composition, Color Theory, etc. :)

I agree that this is a good format for other goals. My daughter is pregnant with her second child and she needs to set up her guest room for a home office for her husband/but still a guest room. She loves planning and I’m going to send her this video.

This was really helpful as a break down and also really helped me recontextualise what im already doing and what improvements i made last year which i wasnt counting as enough before i listed them out - eg. i might have a lot of work in progress but i did finish several things - i also watched a lot about colour theory and all of that counts! anyway thankyou this was a great video

This was a great video and definitely not only a how to to get us started setting up and planning but also it motivates us to do it not just floundering like a fish on the beach. 😂 That was was me flapping and gasping about knowing I wanted to get better but not really having a realistic way to get there. This is awesome! Ill taking your classes in 2025! There are so much in art that i want to do, but at same time i need to study them for advanced level if i want to be. Your class would be amazing for me. Right now, i git hand full. Planning the art is awesome idea! Honestly, inktober has helped me alot to keep motivated going, at same time it is hard to keep up the momentum. But, im doing what i can. Thats all. Mapping out the art is probably best idea!
