I've enjoyed your explanations and example play of randomly generated solo play, especially the basic means of playing solo with essentially free tools, in the previous videos. They helped me understand how to better play solo and overcome the parts I was tripping on. This video (and the example play through you recorded later) are exactly the information I have needed to support my wish to solo play the multitude of adventures and products I have (as a forever DM). Thank you for the clear and organized explanations!

Great presentation! Thank you. I play mostly 5e hardcover adventures solo (4x PC multihand), and I have used similar tips many times to keep that balance between surprise and canon.

Hey! I rewatched this video yesterday, and I think it's great. However, I have a very different approach. Is it okay with you if I make a video disagreeing with this one? I won't be rude or anything, and if it's okay I will mention (and link to) this video as a resource for people who want to solo published modules the traditional way.

Of course. I am by no means an authority on the subject and this is what this is all about: Different methods, opinions and approaches. I am always interested in new ways and approaches.👍

@@Solospelunking Great, thanks! I realized I need to wait with this video, though. Because it's not the method I will use for Curse of Strahd, and I think it might be confusing/disappointing if I talk about doing it one way and then do it another. But I will make this video later.

This is a very interesting topic for me. I'll watch both videos. Everyone does things differently. Hopefully, I can pick up some tips from both of you that'll work for me

I realise this video is already half an hour and you're not in your usual place, but... is it possible to get a playthrough of such please? Even just a simple One Page Dungeon or so...? ... better so, what about also a system/genre completely not D&D? Do the same principles work as well?

Yes, I am on a trip at the moment, so that's the reason for the change of scenery. Regarding the playthrough: Did you watch my Reavers of Harkenwold series? I apply a few of the the principles there. But I see what I can do regarding your request. Regarding rpg systems: These tips are system neutral. You can apply them to any adventure.

Are you playing solo although on a business trip? How is your travel kit?

Yes I am. You can see my travel kit in Session 0 of my Harkenwold series.
