As a jazz piano teacher trying to pick up guitar on the side, I really appreciate your structured approach. I'd love to see the next few steps in being able to stretch out on the delta style.

Probably the clearest most concise explanation of basic blues finger style I've come across. You've certainly given me some ammunition to practise with. Thanks for your great instruction. A natural teacher you are Jamie!

This is exactly what I needed! Your method of teaching is just so methodical, logical and solid, you help build a foundation that can then be elaborated upon, love it!

Thank you! I've checked out a bunch of acoustic blues vids and this is the first one that gave me something relatively simple I can practice rather than trying to throw me into the deep end right from the get go.

Hey Jamie! Thank you for the beginners blues lesson! This lesson was a great start to playing acoustic blues for me!
@bobschueler434211 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jamie. As others have mentioned, that way you start at the beginner's level is perfect. I don't feel there's too much talk as one commenter contends -- you're simply explaining the concepts. A solid understanding is important to proper performance implementation and confidence. Looking forward to viewing your other YT vids but as far as acoustic blues - keep 'em coming!

Hi Jamie, love your guitar blues video. For once someone seems laid-back and listening to you is like listening to a mate in his bedroom showing guitar lessons. Don't listen to the odd negative comments, these are from viewers who cant play like you and in a big hurry, rock on..ooppps..blues on.
