More tips from the observations of a destroyer captain: 1. You should avoid going into narrow channels as a battleship. I can't tell you how many battleship players I sent from full HP to 0 in a single torpedo attack. 2. Should you decide to enter a narrow channel as any ship, it is highly prudent to change speed and/or course to avoid a potential ambush. 3. Battleships firing full broadsides are the ships usually destroyed first in a match. Alternate your fire from your forward turrets and your rear turrets by changing course to keep yourself angled. This maintains a constant fire and improves accuracy. 4. As stated in the pre-match tips, the trajectory of your rounds is different for each turret. Get to know them by fighting against bots, recording your trajectories on your hard drive, and learning how they respond. 5. A battleship commander with narrow vision is an easy target for torpedoes. Constantly change course and speed (see #2) while reloading. The battleship players that stay alive in the end do this simple thing while waiting for reloads. 6. The hardest battleships to torpedo are the ones who move away from destroyer positions due to the limited range of torpedoes.

Wow. I've literally been playing this for years, on PC Xbox and ps5 now and I'm pretty damn good but I never knew the lead "trick" lol! I just got a feel for where to aim in front of the ship based on MY speed and that's it. My eyes don't even see the hash marks....I think you just upped my accuracy by 15% lol! And it was above average in the first place! I'm a mid/long range BB main mostly too lol

One obvious piece of advice for all battleship drivers, based on observation and watching lost of WoW on KZbin. NEVER EVER SAIL IN STRAIGHT LINES. BBs attract torpedoes and gunfire. Whatever you are doing, wherever you are going, alterations of course and speed should be a frequent and automatic thing. Even minor weaving can make all the difference in whether or not something will hit your BB (or any other kind of ship, for that matter). For that matter, if you're trundling along and KNOW there are still enemy destroyers in play somewhere, take the time to briefly kick your BB into reverse for a few seconds now and then.. This little habit on its own has saved me a few times.

I've been playing World of Warships: Legends since the Game Preview and even I am learning things that I didn't know about. You have good, genuinely helpful content, keep up the good work, mate! Subscribed! The only bit of constructive criticism I can give you is to thoroughly review your videos before you upload them, for example, you said that the Texas Alpha in this video was a "German" Battleship, however, it is an American Battleship, very minor, I know, but it has the potential to confuse people.

For newer players Battleship are maybe the strongest in Firepower and AA, and good amount of HP, but avoiding Torp is kinda deadly even it has this weakness When you use a Battleship, calculate well your shots and be patient even the reload time is slow, and stay at long distance or mid to keep shooting your next salvo. Cuz i know most of battleship can 1 shot a Cruiser ship enemy. But it's mostly better to stay away from DD torp.

What mods would you recommend? It gives options for second battery mods but there's no torpedoes on battleships.

I usually run the one that reduced main turret dispersion if it's available. Reducing the turret traverse might be helpful when you're just starting out, but with practice you should get better at keeping the targets near the direction your guns are facing, so tightening up your spread is the way to go in my book.

Great vid! N00b question: how do I know when my secondary armaments are ready to shoot compared to my main battery? I've been going by the seconds left indicator on the reload circle but it always appears I can shoot a couple shots before my main battery has completed its reload....if that makes sense lol cheers!

@@TbullGaming sorry I haven't explained it well lol what I mean is that during a reload after firing off all my guns I always seem to have a couple guns that can fire before the main battery has finished reloading. I guess I'm a little confused by what it means to fire a whole salvo or a whole battery at a ship. Thanks for the reply, keep up the great work!

I'm guessing that when you fire the initial salvo, not all the guns are aimed in at the target yet, and therefore don't fire. Once they finish rotating and are pointed at where you are aiming in the center of the screen the can immediately be fired. 2 ways to check this 1) the guns on the diagram of your ship at the bottom of the screen are white when fully loaded and aimed at the target and yellow when moving to aim at the target. 2) if the guns are still moving towards the target you can see where they are pointed in the center of the screen, they are represented by circles moving towards your main aim point

Which country would u go for battleship? I went with Japan n I'm noticing I'm getting overpowered from u.s. n the Brits . When it come with another Japanese battleship I usually win but I'm having a hard time killing u.s. n Brits battleship

The Japanese have less armor and more mobility than the other two, so try and avoid straight up slug fests with them early on. Try and take out the cruisers to remove guns shooting at you, then hopefully you'll have the numbers to overwhelm the more armored battleships

@@TbullGaming i agree....battleships can sink destroyers and cruisers quickly if you're accurate especially if have 2 or more firing at the same target. Avoid long battles against with battleships until the end if possible. Less likely to get torpedoed by a sneaky destroyer.

So how do we know our AP penetration? Is the game solely using the 'overmatch' mechanic from world of tanks or is that a stat readout I'm not seeing? Currently loving the japanese destroyers. Torpedoes for days. I hope you can get to reviewing these guys in detail some day.

The AP stats aren't anywhere in the game and looking at the wargaming wiki it looks like a complex calculation. I will definitely get some Japanese destroyer videos up. Just making my way through lots of clips I've saved!

I'm relatively new to the game I do ok but struggle alot quick question ships like Kansas style or warspite or Nelson do these ships have the same area to aim for citadel hits no matter what I do I can never seem to damage them

The most annoying part of this game is BB's ability to 1 shot the other ships.

My guns won't fire. I've tried everything. The crosshair is a white circle with 1-4 segments (depending on how many turrets are facing that direction). Has anyone encountered this bug on PS4? I've tried deleting game, tried deleting save. Nothing seems to work. -my guns load at the beginning but tapping/holding R2 after turrets are on target yields nothing.
