Who wouldn’t want to play as a sharp-tongued, seductive vampire queen? Just be sure to check with your group that such a callous, double-crossing character would be acceptable, and watch out for holy water, especially if you provided it yourself.

Just realized it's October which means Spoopy characters I like when a build has an intentional downside put in. Makes the reflavoring more fun if you use the character! The "I'd rather die than lose" archetype is fun story and a great mold that a supportive adventuring party can help the character break out of as the story progresses.

Hey nice another Castlevania build...although that makes me wonder: Does Tulok's Trevor Belmont build count for Richter and Simon Belmont for the Smash builds? Because I argue Trevor is MUCH different from Simon and ESPECIALLY Richter. For instance: every Belmont from Juste onward is able to cast magic, and is especially adept with holy magic...I can see Richter as a Lawful Good Paladin/Bard with high DEX and low WIS.

In the case of Trevor and Simon I think the functions of the character's abilities are close enough not to warrant separate videos on them. The differences between them as far as combat goes I don't see being significant enough to justify the time even if a lot of it is copy paste work. Richter on the other hand I think is different enough as unlike both Trevor and Simon, Richter is a fairly competent battlefield spellcaster

@@aganaom1712 Thanks for the reply! Yeah I made this comment more in respects to Richter because he casts a lot of magic. The Item Crashes were so diverse that I think it requires spells from a few sources (Hydro Storm would be Tidal Wave imo, but that spell is Druid exclusive), hence Bard to avoid the multiclass requirements. Although there IS an upcoming Netflix spinoff from the Castlevania show that will feature Richter, so maybe Tulok will make it based on that Richter but count it for the Smash Belmonts.

@@riggitystorm7331 Oh, huh I didn't know Wizards got it too, mb...Well, my reasoning for him having no Druid Levels was because I also reasoned Richter had low Wisdom, since he fell under mind control by Shaft. Richter could get Elemental Weapon instead of Paladin from Paladin so he could specifically power up his whip instead.

Side note: if you want to get 16 in both STR and DEX at level one, you may want to do +1 to STR and +2 DEX from your lineage. Though at level 4 you can just add 1 to each in the original build to get to the same place so it's a moot point at that level.

I know you don't do remakes of previous builds so a really easy remake of Alucard would be to swap out elf for Dhampir swap out Fay Teleportation for Fay Touched and Arcanist for skilled expert

Carmilla may have only got one fight scene, but good lord it was a belter. I was even almost routing for her. Almost. In terms of D&D, playing an evil character in an adventuring party can be fun and rewarding if you don’t let it interfere with the party’s regular heroics.

The greed and pride are prime sources of sin, and the great Carmilla is pristine example of a monstrous mind devoted to the whim to controll all that exist, but that in my opinion is not that appealing in the sensual department, and many might find that alone uninteresting. Episode 330 of the Fire Emblem stats: Carmilla. She's good with swords, reason, and authority. She wields a cutlass, has access to explosions, and has a wide variety of monsters under her command. Her weaknesses are in faith and heavy armor because she is on the side of demons and she just wears a dress when fighting. She has a lot of HP and defenses but isn't very strong by herself.

I'd personally go Beast over Berserker since you can get Claw attacks that don't require your bonus action for an extra hit (you know, in case your pact weapon breaks) and an arguably better Bite attack. Also, instead of being immune to Fear and Charm (good, but you were convinced to join under the employ of Dracula in the first place somehow), Bestial Soul lets you get to add your Athletics roll to the distance of any jump you make; so with Spider Climb from Dhampir you get to stick to any surface you can jump to.
