What makes Angus' solos hard to master is his vibrato. It's crazy just how much his fingers can get that much into each note.

It might be a good idea to share your delay settings, as it makes the intro. Oh, and you are welcome to sing the song 😂 Great vid!

You're welcome! Angis sure knows how to craft an into. I can see how Eddie was inspired a lot by AC/DC.

Marty , if you watch interviews with Nick Bowcott.. (good friends with Angus)., and when he asked him about this opening riff.. people wanted to know if Angus plays the 12th fret B note or perhaps the OPEN string B note.. when angus replied.. NEITHER!! I dont play the B string as that would be too hard.. when played only G and E strings it certainly is more spacial sounding.. but i have to admit.. on the record it sounds like the B note is in their and most likely on the 12th fret.. this was a GREAT album.. hard driving..

Marty after discovering your channel man you are a great teacher and player !!!! I enjoy watching your videos and trying to learn something new . I do not see many teachers in yourube take the time to break these sings down and show tabs as well as you taking your time to show and explain what your doing on the guitar itself. I really appreciate your time and dedication to your cahnnel !!!!! Rock on 😊

Most people use too much distortion when playing ACDC. I get it, there's no way to get their sound without a 100 watt Marshall turned up to 8. The police would show up at your door. That's where an amp that's got a power soak and master volume comes into it's glory. Turn the wattage down to like 5, crank the channel volume up but keep the master volume down. Then you can get the "cranked" tone at low volume. But without that setup, a pedal is the only way to achieve it. Just keep the gain down as much as possible. Angus and Malcolm never used a pedal in studio or live (as far as I know) Same with modulation. The natural reverb from a cranked Marshall in an arena is how they got the delay and echoes. Again, not possible in your living room
@Ranch5150SkinWalker11 ай бұрын
I use a fractal ax8 for KZbin recordings a lessons. It's so consistent for content. Live, I use tube amps. Always. 🤟🏻🎵
@valuedhumanoid657411 ай бұрын
@@Ranch5150SkinWalker For sure. Modelers have gotten so good in the last 10 years. But even then it's still possible to use too much distortion for ACDC. It's not a metal tone. It's a hard rock tone that depends on volume. Use a Fractal patch like an Aerosmith type tone and lower the gain.
