You are just like having a good next door neighbor who knows how to play guitar and is willing to teach me how to play I love that about your channel.❤

Believe it or not, Rob was my next door-but-one neighbour for a few years back in the eighties, and yes, he taught me to play! Still one of my best mates, though I don’t see him nearly often enough outside of KZbin these days😊

This is a great tutorial…I love how you make your lessons so easy to follow . Thank you for this lesson on Jolene; I’ve always wanted to learn it and your version is quickly doable for my 75yr old fingers. I’ve always wanted to learn to fingerpick and when I came across your channel, my prayers were answered! Ha! On another note… Have you ever done a tutorial on Wayfaring Stranger? I looked through all your videos on this channel but don’t see one. I would sure appreciate it if you’d do a How To Play - Wayfaring Stranger. Thank you for your consideration and a huge THANK YOU for all your time and efforts to make guitar playing fun for all of us out here in KZbin Land.

Thanks for taking the time to compile this content 😊 Jolene is one of those riffs that requires the speed and rhythm to get it to sound accurate which is not possible whilst learning it 😢 Struggling but perseverance is key. Sending love from Manchester 😊

A good one Rob. I appreciate how you update earlier postings, such as Jolene. I am working on your earlier “Blackbird” paperwork, which is now a matter of remembering when to go to short bridge, long bridge, chorus etc. From your big 18 page paperwork, which of course is right on and definitely works! McCartney magic via Fennah!

Thanks Rob this version seems a little less complicated (less paperwork than your earlier version). With regard to the Hush-I travel guitar that you showed us Wednesday, I see Donner have an upgraded model now called the Hush-I Pro which includes a lithium battery, multiple effect modes and other improvements such as clip in support bars, instead of having to use an allen key to install them. It's a bit more expensive, but if you need a bit more from your practice it saves extra pedals etc.

Excellent Rob, thank you...Have you ever uploaded a tutorial on John Martyn's 'May you never'? It's a great guitar part and it would be nice to hear your take on it?

bloody great. I've bugged you before, but I'm going to bug you again... please. please, check out "thank you for talking" by Hall and Oates on their "whole Oates " album. Its a lovely finger picking mellow tune that is just bloody nice to listen to. I'm just crap at learning from the record, and need to be told what strings/fret's to play. Oh well, here's hoping.

I think it’s the one I have. A “Shubb”. Available from the mega online retailer that started by selling books. Now the owner sends off rockets!

I'm led to believe Dolly had to show either Chip or Wayne that wee riff
@fennahrob69345 ай бұрын
Dolly had the Am chord but I’ve never seen her play the riff. (Not with those fingernails). Also, if she could play the riff why use session guys? 👍🏻

Is there a reason you put your capo at an angle?

Yeah, I had a bass string buzz so had to adjust slightly. 👍🏻
