Been wanting to get into kill team for ages so these videos have been very helpful. Im dyslexic so struggle with game rules so miss out on a lot of games so i rely on these kinda videos to help out , so thank you

12:00 does the cover and obscure stack? I mean, if there was an object between the operators in this situation, would B also receive Obscured bonus?

If you roll each sequence of shooting separately with Blast does it matter now in what order you resolve it? For example roll the sequence against a Medic first to stop him from rescuing another operative killed by that Blast? In the current edition you make all the rolls and remove all the operatives after they were all rolled for.

There's a note in the shoot action letting us know the answer for this. Models are only removed after every shoot from the blast action has occurred. So it looks like it still happens simultaneously, despite how the Blast rule tries to explain itself.

@@TacticalSkew Yes, I have also noticed this when I took a look at the rules as written in the rulebook. Seems slightly contradictory in wording but at least there's a clear suggestion how to play it.

Is there anywhere written, that cover is from intervening light or heavy terrain? So far, from one can see on the internet I couldn't find it - cover is from intervening terrain, and intervening terrain is just terrain in between (no restriction to being light or heavy). So... it looks like insignificant terrain would be also cover - invulnerable to vantage and seek (light). Of course, it would be an absurd, and for sure it was not intended - I'm just curious if I missed something, or devs forgot to precise it (or maybe there is some annotation, that every terrain must be light, heavy or exposed in addition to any other traits?). I have similar problem with vantage - did I miss something, or it is not written anywhere? As it is written, for obscuring purposes heavy terrain attached to vantage is not taken into consideration (for vantages were shooter or target are). I love this change, because it is clearing up one of my petty peeves with wall bellow one one side overhanging floor generating obscurity, but as it stands right now, if we have operative on Volkus, on upper floor of this bigger stronghold, but more that 1" from heavy wall on this upper flor, this heavy wall is not taken into consideration - similarly on Chalnath terrain. It seems strange. Did I missed annotation, that it is for heavy terrain attached to vantage, this vantage, or it is not there?

Q1: All terrain can be used for cover unless it has the exposed trait - you're thinking hypothetically of a terrain feature that is insignificant but not exposed (which probably won't ever exist). They needed separate traits as something may be exposed, but not insignificant eg ladders, chains that can be climbed)

Q2: raw, that seems right but clearly not intended - as you described, it would only occur on terrain where the battlements are also heavy (so the strongholds) and the target was on the same or higher level. Just rule that only the connected heavy terrain LOWER than the active operative is ignored when on vantage
