Fender please make a lefty run of your Johnny Marr jag please
@jogmas12 Жыл бұрын
@@ethandowse9145 my friend it all comes down to business, business first. The economies of scale at fender won’t allow for that since lefties are only 10% of guitar players. We just need to take what a company like fender gives us. I’ve accepted that. Perhaps their custom shop may help you, but it will cost more 💲

Thank you my friend, you are such a great teacher. Honestly I was about to give up on La Grange for now but you have helped me to not only understand it but modify my strumming and begin to actually learn it.

I was thinking about getting fender play but couldn’t handle the speed this is taught at. When I’m looking at tutorial videos, If the musician doesn’t play the song at the beginning of the video I just move on immediately. It’s also really helpful to have the different riffs constantly played back to you as you’re being shown them. This is so slow and takes so long that you forget what you’re doing is supposed to sound like.
@SirEddieEwing3 жыл бұрын
1. you need a gibson for an authentic sound. 2. I'm missing some slide-up's at the "bluesy turn-around" (starting at minute 11:00)
@josephanderson38896 жыл бұрын
You guys should have how to tune your guitar perfectly and set it up properly. Tying the strings correctly, trust rod demo, intonation, and harmonic tuning. I know a lot of beginners will skip this but it’s not to be skipped. Basically the Joe Walsh Star licks video but fender.

Play the riff at the beginning of the lesson. Many players will get it by watching once. Go into details later for those who need it. Unless you are very familiar with the song, this lesson makes no sense.

This is far too contrived - to stiff. The presenter needs to have some personality, we’re learning Rock and Roll not Pachelbel. It feels scripted and the baby talk doesn’t help either. He also talks too much “what I want you to do is with your fretting hand reach your pinky to the fifth fret of the fourth string and you’ll find that your pinky is no longer on the fifth fret of the third string but on the fifth fret of the fourth string” it needs to feel looser and not patronising.

@professorstokes65964 жыл бұрын
Marty's really great but his La Grange lesson goes from zero to 100 mph in a flash. I found it really hard to digest..not bad if you slow it down to half speed or so but he lost me pretty quickly on that one.

If he didnt talk like a damn machine gun then maybe someone could understand it. Horrible job bud.

Wait, hold on, slow down... what you want me to do is take my pick, and do something with it? oh jeez. ok, got it... Now, you want me to "take that little pad on our first finger, laying it across the second fret of our fourth string aaall the way to the second fret of our third string!? OK, I'm "gonna go ahead" and tell you to put up some tabs on the screen man! Way too many words being used. if you are just gonna say the tab, you may as well just display it. Painful. I'm gonna move on.
