on a lan server yes, its coded so he will only start spawning after 3 ingame days. also you need to put the datapack folder in the texture packs for everyone too

You can force it to work anyway. Just click on the modpack in the list and it will then ask you if you want to run it away.

Is the datapack only enough for herobrine or cave dweller to appear in the game or do you need to download the mod too. I’m really confused with all the different videos and no one is explaining it properly……..

you dont need the mod, just the datapack. you do have to make sure you download the resource pack that comes in the from the fog zip folder though. Also, the monster only starts appearing after 3 days of play btw

for the people who are asking that "will it work on bedrock" or "bedrock pls" "pls how to download mods from curseforge and put it to minecraft bedrock" sooo apperantly many people have been really want the mods from curseforge and port it to bedrock which really not gonna work cuz it is only available for minecraft java though and there was only 1 mod from curseforge that is belong to mcpe/mcbe and made it from curseforge and the name was giant alex mod u can search it and still available today the giant alex mod but other horror mods or every mods on curseforge except giant alex and the mods from curseforge actually only work on java edition and for android java edition/pojavlauncher

the resource pack is in the same .zip file that you downloaded from the site, so just add the resource pack in and that should fix it

Playing on aternos and the datapack is not working correctly. Activated tje Debug and everytime it is "Attempting to spawn Herobrine at [Coords]" and then "Killed entity spread at [Herobrine coords]"

I don't know if you're on a minehut server, aternos server or which server host you're using, so i'm not sure. But for whatever server host you're using, just google how to add datapacks to that type of server. For example: how to add datapacks to a minehut server. there should be some articles to help with that.
