How to Play Music on Multiple Google Home | Speaker Groups

In this video Human will show you how to play the same music on multiply Google Home speaker. This is good when you have a house with a lot of Google Home in the household and want to play music on selected speakers at certain times during the day. You can create multiply speak groups for different areas and occasions. This works with all Google Home and Google Nest devices but in this video, we are using the Google Home Mini. All you need is to have the Google Home App installed on your phone and follow this easy how-to tutorial.

Hi I don't know if there's a specific command but that would be easily doable in the music app your using e.g. Spotify. Every speaker group is in the list for "available devices" in Spotify playback.

From my understanding this should not be a limitation in the Google Home ecosystem. I don't know if you're experiencing a temporary bug. Have you tried to delete every speaker group and restart every Home / Nest device and then tried again?

You can talk to any speaker, even if they are not in the speaker group. Just tell Google to play the music on the selected speaker group

I'm looking at buying a system to hook up into my old intercom wall system and want to know if I will be able to play separate music choices in each room. We now have two home offices and two kids in their own student room/bedrooms and probably each person will want to stream their own music.

As shown you can create speaker groups and each group should be able to play separate music. The only thing you need is multiple accounts which can stream music at the same time (multiple spotify accounts or other)

Hi. You don't need a Google Nest Hub in order to create speaker groups. In fact you can mix different Google Home/Nest devices to create a speaker group. So in your case only 4 Google Nest Minis will be no problem.

Is there a command I can use to play sound from KZbin videos on a speaker group? If so, how? Right now, it seems like it will only play music, not the sound from KZbin videos. These mini speakers can't play stuff from KZbin, even if it's just the audio. But you can play the KZbin on your phone and then cast the audio to your speakers. So your phone will output the audio to the speakers. The audio will play as long as you have played on the phone. That's probably the only way. Unless you get one of the Google Hub with a screen. That can play KZbin videos.

You can't do exactly like you desire but you could connect one of your Google Home/Nest devices to a bluetooth speaker. By doing this, this specific Google Home/Nest device will play music through the bluetooth speaker you assigned it to, even when it is in a speaker group. I have not heard a limit when it comes to speaker groups. But there will be the same sound from all speakers. You can if you want stereo sound with Left and Right channels, pair two Google Home speakers.

Yes, every Google Home / Nest will use the connected Bluetooth speaker. But be aware that you may have to adjust the "Speaker Delay" because every Bluetooth speaker will have a slight delay compared to different Bluetooth speakers and also in comparison to Google Home / Nest speakers.

Maybe have a writer who speaks english help you go over the words before you make a video. It's hard for anyone to takes you seriously for longer than 10 seconds when you're tripping over the vowels and nouns of the english language. But good job besides that. Look at you help'n!
