Very clear, with simple top down sections to show what is being explained. Cannot ask for more really.

16:35 can units with airborne not defend from a nearby location?
@wizardsden66611 ай бұрын
Airborne can defend from nearby, this is an overview and doesn't go into the small details of airborne which will be covered in episode 3.
@razielsghost610811 ай бұрын
@@wizardsden666 was a bit weird because the nearby exceptions for airborne movement was mentioned right before, but i understand this is a series and that in the end all info will be there

Thanks for the how to and FAQ videos. I have a question about stealth. rules state a unit cannot defend against stealth, but stealth states it loses stealth when it attacks. So does the unit strike back against the steathed unit?
@wizardsden66611 ай бұрын
Good question! Yes, the minion that is being attacked will still strike back. It's just that you can't defend the attacked minion when its being attacked from a minion with stealth. The stealth will be lost after the attack resolves.

Why doe your video say 40 spellbook cards, 20 atlas cards and in the official rules it says 50 spellbook cards and 30 atlas cards

Because the rules changed recently and the deck size increased!

Is the playmat(“battlefield”) required?
@TheUkiko9 ай бұрын
The play mat is not required, but a play field is. You can use painter's tape or washi tape to make a grid. It is helpful to have the grid playmate, though. Less setup, at least.

It is better to have one as it does make life easier.

Great video. Two question here: a. can I conjure an Artifact to my minion when it's in the Void/Submerged/Burrowed? b. when me and my opponent go to Death's Door on my turn, am I immune to damage until my next turn?
@wizardsden66611 ай бұрын
Thanks! a. yes, conjuring to a minion is not "targeting" b. your immunity will be lost on the next turn regardless of whose turn it is

I am playing a bit on TTS since theres no cards to buy anywhere in europe (aside from those with horrendous markup), this is really helpful. I've been playing magic since 1996 and this game looks quite interesting and matches the 90s vibe i am looking for. Hopefully they will be available here soon too. How Is card availability in JPN? Can you even get the game right now?
@wizardsden6668 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Japan had zero initial cards at release; there are some products now but these are stuff that are resold after buying overseas at MSRP. But you can still get it. We understand that this is a US centric game and it comes at a higher price tag, just like it was when MTG was first imported to Japan.
@Matti_Mattsen8 ай бұрын
@@wizardsden666 I see, that is unfortunate. Well, lets hope they expand their market properly and make it widely available. Because yeah, it mimics mtg, but its no longer 1993.

If Sorcery is successful enough (and i hope it is!) I have a feeling a simplified or at least less expansive version of the game is going to be developed by the community. Sorcery might be as difficult to learn as Yugioh, and that's saying something!
@wizardsden66611 ай бұрын
Maybe! But the ones playing likes this complexity so not sure!
@pythonxz5 ай бұрын
I think with videos like this, it can definitely lower that barrier to understanding it.
