Excellent new to the game and I will try this. I am so excited to get started. Great video :-) I am going to try to start a club in Norwich England.

Good question Michael, I think it's fine to tape down the pitch. Some players even use thumb tacks to hold down the pitch if you don't want to use spray adhesive to stick it out.

Hi, I'm thinking of attempting to make a folding table for better storage. Out of the felt and astroturf which, if any, do you think would be best suited to being kept folded in half for long periods of time? Would glueing it down even allow me to fold? Any info would be great. Cheers.

Hi Paul; When you paint the board, do you undercoat it first or just roll on some matt or gloss paint?
@subbuteoman2 жыл бұрын
no undercoat, just roll on the paint chosen

If you use the staples board, is it ok to tape down the pitch to the board or will it ruin the surface by stretching it like a cloth pitch.

I bought a basic set for me and my son to get started with, do you recommend getting an astro pitch instead of the felt one that comes with the set if you are going to make a table? Or is there a good way to adhere the basic felt pitch? Thanks, great video.

If you are going to build a board you really should get an astropitch/astroturf such as supplied by TablesoccerUSA. The quality of the surface is the #1 consideration in getting the most out of the game and the equipment. If you want to stay with the cloth. You can try very thin wallpaper paste (very light) to stick it down - hard to get the lines straight. One option could be to get your board, apply the cloth pitch (you could pin it down) and then when you are ready to move up to a better experience you can use the same board to later put down your astropitch.

I did it myself with the Stodoys plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.
