Today we learn how to play Tea For One by Led Zeppelin on Guitar.
An absolute monster of a song coming in at just under 10 minutes; for that reason I've held back on the lead guitar and taken a different approach to the lesson.
We're going to be talking about the key as well as several scales that you can practice and use to improvise or work out what Jimmy is doing.
I think you'll find it really fun and useful.

There were so many great, underated songs from their later albums - this being one of them. Always loved the production on this one, especially during the solo. So atmospheric with all the reverb building up.

Pretty sure no songs are underated..not by the fans...keep in mind there are a ton of radio fans who are unaware of many tracks on many albums...but then their not real fans...years ago I turned a friend onto this masterpiece of an album....and he considered himself a big zep fan....once he started listening, we'll he loved it...

My problem is I’ve always been a fairly lazy guitar player. I enjoy playing my own stuff but when it comes to playing other artists’ songs such as those by Zeppelin, I’ve always just played what I hear and if any parts got remotely complicated I didn’t bother to go any further. Sped’s videos have fixed that for me and I use these as a library to get to all the parts that other attempts couldn’t reach. I can now play entire songs effortlessly. I hate working from books, and KZbin is the perfect answer for me, and Sped’s videos are easily the best on here. Very accurate, and expertly played, which promotes an incentive to learn. Keep up the great work Sped.

You are the best teacher. I’ve owned a guitar for 20 years during that time I took one intro guitar during summer at a jr. College. I also learned some chords and a quarter of an intro from my best friend who was a natural born musician anything he picked up. I probably get into paying every 5 to 8 years for about a month or two then down it goes. I recently started up again and that’s to you tube and you I’ve managed to play some some music Led zeppelin music!! I appreciate your style of teaching exactly what I’ve been needing all these years. Thank you!

Page was such a sleazy player. I love how he simply plays from the heart, not technically great all the time but I cant think of a player with more feel. Beautiful stuff. Ps, that Les Paul is stunning 😍

Good work fella. As a Thrash fan my knowledge of Zep is a bit bit and miss so I’d never heard this, I’m glad I have now so thanks for the introduction. If I was to offer any criticism at all it’s that you need more guitars. 30 maybe??

God how I love Led Zeppelin I was lucky to see them 3 times. Each time I listen to them it's like hearing them for the first time I wonder often just what great heights they would have achieved if Bonzo would have lived We were all cheated so very very long ago Bless us all

@@SpedSpedding I do think that the Zep Boys would still be a group had Bonzo not passed away Considering that they were all in their early to mid 30s They were not even close to their zenith They were (understandably) just guys living life and carrying on a bit too much What Zep created and gave the world in that short time span was just the begining One does not need to look far to see the love and deep compassion & appreciation people have had back then and today 40-50 years later for Zeppelin Simply unmatched......how lucky we all are To have the awareness to see, feel and hear their beauty that others do not Much love to all.....keep Zepping On

I rarely listen to the whole song...because I will just listen to the understated genius of the intro riff a few dozen times...one of their best and probably most overlooked moment of greatness...but it almost feels like that might be intentional...which would be standard for LZ...
