I always thought he was saying, "I am," too! Just what I needed after a long week on the road. Thanks, Mike.

I had one of those Martin 000-15M. I have slowly swapped around and now use a Martin Custom 00-15sm deep body, s for standard or 12-fret, m for all mahogany, 24.9" scale, variegated ebony finger board and saddle, bone nut and bridge. ( deep as a dreadnought) and hide glue, Adirondack bracing. It's a nice little guitar, balanced, warm, with clear notes.

That’s a great guitar, Tex. I’ve played the garden variety 000-15SM, but yours sounds like a nice little piece.

@campfire_guitar_lessons Wednesday I went and played for the (retired) colonel. His wife is from this town and a nurse in the army starting on May 1971: right after graduation. He had 3 tours in Vietnam. I caught up with him in memory care, and he had a bad fall in January. From VA to a nursing home a few months later, a rough road. Although they had us go to the activity room so others could hear, this was for him: God bless America, Battle of New Orleans, God Bless the USA, and his Elvis favorite- How Great Thou Art led the session. Others were singing. I didn't realize how many veterans are there. The Colonel was very engaged, even said a short sentence to his wife that hadn't happened since the fall. He was tapping his feet and hands. The wife and CNAs were very happy. I was also happy to see him and be remembered. I will be back. It was a cool session Thanks

Thanks Mike for this lesson. I have two requests for you (both campfire songs) - a "Beatles medley" and "You can go your own way" by Fleetwood Mac.

Love your ideas Anil! Thanks. I’ve never played Go Your Own Way, but I’m confident it is straightforward. A Beatles medley would be very fun to assemble… possibly looking to Giles Martin’s approach on the “Love” soundtrack. Thanks again!

Hi Mike, so enjoying this weeks song, thank you. It's beautiful in Its simplicity. Finding this one easy to play and sing, I think the Em start (not sure of key) suits me. Never would have thought of an REM song but loving this

@@campfire_guitar_lessonsHi Mike, thanks again for this lesson. We managed to 'perform' this recently. Thought you might like to see. A couple of chord fluffs which I'll put down to nerves, still new to playing in front of people. I'm with the J45 kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWeufaylfJ2nncUsi=6Uk8ApBkFj6li0ix
