@ArseLoad0fMetal666 don't cut the mids! if anything I boost the mids for solos. use a Homebrew Electronics Power Screamer for extra gain and spent a lot of time making each pick accurate. every pick/hammer/pull has to be in synch on both hands. Learnt a lot of that from learning Annihilator stuff; got to be very accurate to get that stuff

We think alike, musically. LOL! I just discovered you guys about a month ago (bought the albums the other day). Listening to your riffs reminds me of similar riffs I wrote in the early '90s in a thrash band (called ourselves Cannabis). Riffs similar to the chorus to "Enter the Grave," and "Eternal Empire," or one of the riffs you played at the 3:13 mark. You know what I'm talking about, those riffs that have the really hooks. Stringing them together, intertwining them with chunky, heavy riffs. You guys are an awesome thrash band, but an old school, no bullsh... thrash band. Something for which old thrashers like myself (I'm 50) have been YEARNING. Sure there is Testament, Slayer hung it up, Anthrax is still at it, Megadeth. However, save for Anthrax, the feel of the other aforementioned bands' music doesn't have that... well I don't know to say it. Anyhow, thank you for the music you and the rest of the members wrote/write. It's fueled the raging fire within me. I'll be damned if I don't record my songs, at least for myself and my son (who is learning drums and loves old school thrash. He will be my jam buddy. I'll tutor him in thrash, well. (~_^) We even verbalize the rhythms in the same manner. LOL

@EvileOL i love your tone Ol, but i am wondering how you seem to achieve even live an almost complely noiseless really high gain sound? i also love how evry note in your solos are easily heard and the picking is very noticable even with the high gain sound, how do u with so much gain get such a pronounced clear tone for your solos? mine tend to blurr with large quantities of distortion even when i cut the mids
