This is amazing. I'm not fluent in English and don't understand everything, but with such a teacher, it's not a problem. Thank you. Greetings from Poland.

I don't normally comment on videos but I felt I had to after watching this one. I'm 47 and just picked up the guitar in December of 22. I've been all over KZbin watching tutorials on various songs every night. I've leaned a lot and have improved significantly but I still struggle to follow along with some of the tutorials. While many of the "teachers" I've found are very good at their craft, few break down the song quite as well as you did in this video. I've struggle with some songs because no one seems to offer a strumming pattern in its simplest form from the start. Everyone adds their own flourishes and fills and no two songs are taught the same. I loved this tutorial because you gave the viewer the pattern in the most basic form and at the end showed how to juice the song up if they were at that level. Plus you followed along the tab breaking it down into bite sized chunks. Great job, sir! I did not think I could play this song but this video really helped and gave me what I needed to keep picking away at it. Thank you!

Thank you again for inspiring my son. He had his first go at this tune and with a little effort got the first few bars. He's rightly pleased with himself. Tomorrow it's off to another lesson with his tutor, which I'm sure will include a small demonstration of what he can now do. Thanks again!

So nice to find someone who actually knows how to play it, have watched Gilmore doing acoustic shows and you could clearly see how his accompanist played the rhythm and most of the other teachers online don't play it right, if I can't play it the original way I don't want to play it at all, I want to learn the lead as well as I've probably listened to the song a few thousand times since it's release back in the seventies. Hope to play at Summerfest up river from you in a couple of years with some of my lifelong musician friends that I grew up with there many moons ago, thanks again it's much appreciated.

Great teacher, thanks for your efforts, I used to play but stopped due to a myriad of issues. I have MS and recently picked up my guitars relearning how to play. It is a challenge as I have forgotten much with difficulty handling cord patterns. Again, this is great stuff.

I really like your teaching style, i can understand, and see you cords, and your counting the strum patterns really help get that down better. I use to be freind with a couple of up coming bands. And i help set up an sound. And picked some guitar from them. But never really understood, or carried it all the way. With this pandemic and your help and others i feel like it won't be long till i can play with others. Thanks again. Why don you play something for us that your into. Sounds like you might have voice too.

Awesome video Shane! Hey one question, on the Em7 are you fretting the 2nd fret on the 5th and 4th string? It doesn’t look like you are, looks like just the 4th string 2nd fret (along with the 3rd fret on the E and B strings of course) but when I went to your website and looked at the chord diagrams it seems to indicate that the Em7 has both the 5th and 4th string fretted.
