Chris is, simply put, a master teacher. I'm a teacher myself and have spent a lifetime observing the methods and manner of the most influential teachers among us. Chris embodies the best methods and right manner of the great teachers among us. Thanks for offering this course to us.

I think I knodded my head the whole time he was talking. Makes it so clear and understandable.

Best conditioning coach in our time. Not so sure he can teach technique on the rower, but he knows the underlying principles of biology.

So glad to be a part of the Mayhem Athlete program now - cannot wait to do this with the SkiErg (which is the only cardio machine I have at home haha).

A master at his craft. I really think of investing in his Mayhem program (even though I won't do swimming or 7 workouts a week).

The running and echo bike programs are in Mayhem Athlete. It looks like the Rowing program was never archived.

If your goal is a sub 6:20 row, would you still start with a 6min row to set your fast speed? Wasn’t sure if you should lower it to a 5 or 5:30min row test. Thanks

Congrats to Rory...but adjusting his form could take another fifteen seconds off his PB; don't think I've ever seen the handle end up so low on the torso for someone at his level. (But nowhere near as questionable as the form on the other rower.)

Chris, How often would you recommend to try this 10 week progression in a given year?
@AerobicCapacityTV3 жыл бұрын
I'd recommend doing it one more time in ~5-6 months. However, you should add in a 2nd row workout each week

As a certified rowing instructor and top ranked rower for my age group. I love the advice to train at target pace. I do lots on intervals leading up to comps based on the pace I plan to keep for the distance. Lots of base cardio work as well but you have to get comfortable at desired speed.

The dude in light blue is leaking efficiency; knees coming outside the arms towards the catch.

Hi, how can i calculate my easy, moderate, sprint pace when i have my "fast" pace? In the 6 Minute test i just try my best sustainable pace and take that pace as my fast pace? Thanks in advance!

you can't do pr without having a good technique and they have no technique at all in that video, that's the first thing they have to practice if there is to be a good pr
@stevencooke81042 ай бұрын
You want them to go faster, teach them how to properly row. Technique is horrendous.
