I think my only weak point is that my first language is not english, but i can speak very fluent almost like a real american. And one of my strongest points i think is that i can show emotion very fast, like crying in seconds. One thing i'm doing right now at home is recreating some movie scenes like me doing laundry, doing my bed, while i'm at the shower, i say the lines doing those kind of things, to keep improving
@petrajorova34074 жыл бұрын
Exactly. ❤️Thanks god I’m still young and I have time to learn English properly

@Maeve Lopez i've been practicing that for about 10 years but, when i startes doing i just started thinking about something that happen to me or something that i did that hurt someone and then it happens. Now it comes natural, i just focus on my emotions and i start thinking that something sad is going to happen and then i feel like a pressure in my nose and chest i don't know why, and then it comes in seconds, is like a weird feeling
@Horror_and_Thrillers4 жыл бұрын
@A. T. for me when i watch a series or a movie and i know a sad part is coming, my eyes get watery and red and i can begin to cry. If you want to test your emotions just watch handmail tails, believe they cry a lot a u will learn a lot

Hey man! I took your classes on Udemy during lockdown and it helped reawaken my love for theater and really acting in general. I started taking local acting/modeling classes once local restrictions lifted in my area. In October I got signed to an agency. Since then I've gotten to do voice acting that resulted in IMDB credits and I've gotten to be a paid extra in a short film. In January I'm going to Los Angeles to compete in a talent competition and show casting directors/producers/talent scouts/etc. what I can do. And your videos here have been helping me prepare. Thank you for being a fantastic starting point in my journey. And for being a resource I can continue to return to as I improve my craft.

I am currently a film actress in college, but I have yet to have a large audition outside of student films and featured roles in feature films. When you say “how long it takes to memorize your lines”, how long/many pages is the average audition script in your experience? I can memorize a 2 page script in roughly 20 minutes if it’s dialogue, but I don’t know if that’s comparative to professional auditions
@TheActorsAcademy4 жыл бұрын
It all depends on the project you’re auditioning for/how the casting & directors are running their projects. It’s not uncommon for you to get on average about three scenes for a single audition. Again this is not set in stone and you may get more or less it just depends. For example, when auditioning for Stranger Things, I was given 5 scenes to memorize for the initial audition. Again, every project is different and nothing is set in stone, but 3-5 scenes is fairly common. Hope this helps 👍🏼

I am 11 years old, i wanted to act since i was 6 but i was always too shy to tell anyone, so if i told my parents earlier i would've probably already been in a few films.. anyway i live in a small place in england not in London or Manchester or anything i live in a small town and i don't know how to start, we can't go to an acting school at the moment because my mum hasn't passed her drivers test thing so she wouldn't be able to drive me to classes and my dad works at night. I can't find any online classes or anything because u have to pay for all of them, i do practice at home and I really try hard but i don't know if i'm good or not. After school clubs are closed in my school because of Coronavirus, and we only do drama once a fortnight at school so i'm not sure how to start acting and be good enough to send an audition to some big company like Warner Bros or Marvel. I was looking at voice-acting so maybe i could start with that and then if we have enough money from that i could go to a good acting school, the one i'm really interested in is about £300 a month which i think is ridiculous! The one i'm actually gonna go to is like £4 and it's closed because of coronavirus. So if anyone could give me any tips on how to start practicing at home or any online acting classes in england i would really appreciate it, i'm never going to give up i will keep trying.. but someone please give me some tips i will be so grateful!!

Does anyone have any tips on finding acting classes focusing on movies and commercials and tv shows? I’ve tried to fine some classes but they are all for theater and plays which I’m not really interested in that kind of acting.

It feels like I have no chance of becoming an actress. there are lots and lots of people who want to get into acting. (almost feels like half of the world.) and of course, some people are better than me, and with what I'm hearing it feels impossible. I don't want to give up but I have no hope.
