"Dear person whoever reads this, Hey, you, yes, I'm talking right to you. I hope you will see yourself with the eyes I see you one day. Because I can tell you have some awesome music taste :) you're such a beautiful human being and worth and enough! I hope you know that you do only need yourself to be happy!! I know society build up the standard that whenever you're alone, you're not living a happy life. But in fact that is not true, if you start to realize that you actually deserve all the good things happening to you,you will treat yourself a lot nicer!! I hope you let yourself rest. Don't beat yourself up over past mistakes,over regret and over everything your mind wants to destroy you. I wish I could remove all those demons inside of your head because you deserve to feel happy! If you ever feel lonely,then watch the sky, because you know, someone,at the same time is watching the sky too.. maybe feeling the same way! I'm glad you exist and I hope you won't ever remove your own spot in this world..maybe you don't feel like you belong here but, Angel..then build your own home here. I don't want you to leave this world unhappy. I want you to live every little second, I want you to feel alive, don't want you to see yourself just existing, you deserve it!! Whatever happened, it's not your fault, the demos in your head recognize that you have a beautiful heart, they want to take it because they have never seen such beautiful heart as yours..so why let them win over you!? You're not selfish for isolating yourself,but you deserve to talk to someone. If you're reading this, then please never forget to breathe and smile!! Don't live up to other standards! It's your story..not theirs!! Live for those who couldn't..smile for those who forgot what a genuine smile is...love like there's no other..hug like it's your last one!! I Love You and sending you hugs!You're so strong, you're still here and I'm proud of you!! YOU ARE NOT USELESS. READ THAT AGAIN! YOU ARE WORTH IT. READ THAT AGAIN!! YOU ARE LOVED. READ THAT AGAIN. I AM GLAD YOU EXIST. READ THAT AGAIN!!! YOU ARE NOT A PROBLEM. YOU ARE HUMAN AND YOUR FEELINGS ARE VALID. READ THAT AGAIN. YOU ARE NOT BEING DRAMATIC!! You're not a burden to anyone.. don't be afraid to talk, use your voice!! You're beautiful inside out. Your body is beautiful the way it is!! Please don't starve yourself. Please eat..I know it's hard but you deserve food. You deserve to eat and drink. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. READ THAT AGAIN.I WISH I COULD HUG YOU RIGHT NOW..SO A VIRTUAL HUG WILL DO.! It hurts me to see you're in pain :( You deserve so much luv. Don't let your emotions control you. Don't let them get the best of you. I love u I love u l love u I love u I love u please don't let go I'm sorry that no one is hearing you, I'm sorry no one is noticing that you have lost yourself.I wish I could take your pain away..it hurts me to see the pain on your eyes. I love you through my words and I mean it. I just want you to stay.. hold on a little longer okay! Please? For me?? I hope you have an awesome day/morning/ evening/night If it's night for you..go to sleep. I know it's hard to fall asleep right now but you deserve a good sleep. If you have nightmares, please don't let them fight you. If it's day for you, don't start it by such sad music. I know it's impossible to have a good day with such mindset but take baby steps..start by drinking two cups of water in the morning and so on... You will start building little healthy habits. If it's evening for you, you're probably overwhelmed and stressed. I want you to know it's okay to feel the way you feel. You don't need to be scared. Of course you're overwhelmed or stressed, I mean who wouldn't!? But it's impossible to know that when you feel that way,you should do a little self care..such as taking a bath for example? You deserve to feel at aese and relaxed. And if you're somewhere in between, I hope you know that you're stronger than you think... I know that you will make it :) Now, wipe those tears away and smile for me. you really don't know how much a smile can brighten someone's day, do you? I hope one day yours will become a genuine one where you don't need to fake it anymore. Because I can't say this enough. You deserve a good smile and to feel alive. You're worth more than every fooking cent in this world. Remember, crying is not weakness. Let it out as much as you can but don't let the emotion control you by giving up. It's okay, you're here, you're safe, you can let it out. Did anyone asked you how are you feeling today? If not,how are you really?? I don't think you're doing good, but you will feel good at one point. Don't give yourself up. I'm sorry you feel misunderstood. But anyone who gets to be with you, doesn't know how fooking lucky he/she/they is :)Enough with beating up yourself for today, okayy? -- The stranger that cares about you more than anything!! I hope this is enough for you to stay strong today.. Tomorrow will be a new day,a new start....let go now! I hope you can stay. This is your sign to stay and treat yourself with LOVE, you deserve it. And in case no one told you today, again...I'm so proud of you. I hope you will remember my words! :) Untill tomorrow my Friend! :)" all credits to another commenter ... on another video ;)

Currently I'm going through a long time relationship break up and some deep old wounds are starting to show up. It's important to learn how to love yourself first so you can be ready to love someone else in the future. It may be painful to accept it, or even harder to see it in the first place but in the end, it's what's gonna be the best for you.

Hello there! 👋🏻 Just wanted to add something for those who struggle with self-deprecation: - Before you judge and condemn yourself for whatever reason you have, examine if the negative thoughts and beliefs you hold about yourself are really your own or are imposed on you by others (family, societal expactations, etc..) That is what helped me come out of self-loathing and like I don’t deserve happines. That’s what really shifted it for me. I know I deserve to be happy now, and know I am allowed to put myself (self-care) first. I’m worth my own love. ❤️

I want to add that under #4: "Set Boundaries", there can be a difference between getting out of your comfort zone and listening to your inner self (emotional, Spiritual, or mental) or even physical body. For instance, sometimes when I wake up either from a nap or for the day, I might not feel like doing anything or going anywhere. However, once I attend an activity, go to Church, visit with Family, or whatever, I often feel better for going rather than staying surrounded by my four walls at home. I wasn't always like this, but I recently I've noticed this about myself. I don't know if its related to a possible addition towards electronics or if it's in relation to something emotional and psychological that I haven't yet discovered. In either case, I am glad for the small victories of getting over my insecurities and selfish desires and allowing myself to get lost in the moment. And yes, sometimes I Have turned down activities whenever I felt Super Tired or when I really just didn't want to go. But when I have felt like I can, and I make the efforts to do so, I feel so much better connecting with others. 😊

I have found exercising particularly helpful when I am overwhelmed by all sorts of negativity (loneliness, self-doubt, fear, uncertainty, etc). And of all exercises, I feel martial arts are the most effective at combating them. There was a night I feel completely overwhelmed, drowning in loneliness in my little residence room. Out of a random thought, I clicked a video of beginner Muay Thai coaching and began to follow the actions of the coaches in the video. It was surprisingly effective at kicking those negative thoughts out of my mind. Every punch I throw feels like smashing into the face of those negativities, and by the end of that 30 min video, it literally feels like I am the last man standing with all those negativity as enemies lying around me, dead.

Practicing self-love means accepting and embracing who you are, flaws and all. For me, it involves taking care of myself physically, emotionally, and mentally. It means being kind to myself, forgiving myself for mistakes, and giving myself permission to take a break when I need it. Practicing self-love also involves setting boundaries, saying no to things that don't serve me, and surrounding myself with positive and supportive people. It's a journey, and some days are harder than others, but I believe that cultivating self-love is essential to living a fulfilling and happy life.

I honestly like to watch this channel in general when I’m less than great, and it often helps But the references sprinkled in here and there just actually make me so happy, they’re not all that noticeable but still are fun,, good job to the animator’s attention to detail!

I've been critical on myself and been treating myself badly. I thought I wasn't good enough and told myself bad things, I believed it through my life. I never looked after myself and ended up hurting myself more, physically and mentally. I'm now giving myself the confidence and love that nobody else in the world could return to me. You are the most important thing in your life. You DO matter and you DO deserve that love and respect you give to others. Give yourself the same treatment.

Number 1: I am incredibly hard on myself anytime I make a mistake, as a mistake in the past would have meant losing everything and being put down by everyone around me. Number 2: My goals were all based around what my mom wanted. Now I don't know what I want... Number 3: I put things off way too much out of worrying about what other people need and/or want. Number 4: Growing up my boundaries were destroyed by my parents and siblings. I wasn't allowed to have my own will, my own needs, or my own opinion. Number 5: This goes in line with 4, I tried to protect myself but it only made things worse. Number 6: The amount of time I spent working doesn't allow for me to pursue the goals I have. If I'm not always working and looking out for other people, I'm at risk if losing everything. Number 7: People only ever pointed out my flaws and told me that was all I needed to worry about. Number 8: Sometimes I feel like I don't have enough energy because I'm always on the move, always working just to maintain the stability I've worked years to achieve, therefore I've been lacking self care. Looks like Im little overdue for a bit of self love.....

At the first quarter in our school, I reminded myself i should do my bestest to achieve the award, high grades, certificates etc. and now that ending of first quarter, i didn't really do well. Because I'm so used to downing myself seeing others more have a face to become win than me. I hated myself for a long time. I hate every mistakes I did. That I almost hate my existance. Looking at far, staring at my yesterday self. Big realization suddenly attacks me. It came like a strong pass of wind. Unexpectedly, but slowly have a meaning when It fades away. I realized that i wasn't doing my best, no, I can't do my best if I didn't love myself at all. All I do this past few weeks are scroll and scroll and stuff. Because of a thought I was down and sad. But my reality is far more than that. I wish I realized this earlier

I’ve noticed a pattern in the video where it tells you NOT to overwork yourself and give yourself some time to yourself. But one of my main problems is that *I don’t know when a break should really happen and for how long* .Trying to forgive myself is a pain too.. I’m gonna be here for a while Heh..
@Sunflowerboss2 жыл бұрын
Hey. I struggle with this too. When I finally get into the work flow after days of procrastination, I’m afraid to take a break because those breaks last for days too 😅 Here’s something that helped me. I Set alarms for an hour and for that hour I focus only on the task at hand (you can also do 30-45 mins whatever you are comfortable with) and after that hour I take a break for 15 min. I do this throughout the day and for some reason it helps a lot. It lets me work as well as take a break in peace. Hope it helps!

I have always told my family and friends that I am ok, that I'm fine. Even to myself, I believed that there is nothing wrong with me. Besides, who would want to admit that they are broken. I always believed that I love myself as much as I can and that my mental was fine, but I was wrong. Throughout this pandemic, I have gradually lost every bit of my self-reliance and I have always sought validation from others online. At times when there are no friends to talk to, I felt alone and miserable. I have lost my capability to find happiness by myself. I thought my mental health was fine, but it is not. I never noticed that I have already been neglecting myself. But starting now, I will give myself the love I deserve. To all the people out there who are struggling with self-love, may we finally give ourselves the love and care that we could give.

I have already practiced these all methods in my childhood. Then suddenly I went into a depression that affects me till now, but I am sure I will overcome it by having good friends as you will always there to support me. Due to addiction after depression, I forgot all these methods that lead my life as an evil and as a darkening cloud. And now due to your self-love methods video made me recover these methods and helped me to overcome depression and also made me comment as according to method eight ones Practice Self-Care "do not ignore your basic needs, take some time out of your day to fulfill your basic needs this will leads to self-love meanwhile also you will be mentally happy for a long period of time." Thank you so much, Buddy.

I started setting goals for myself and tried out new activities that I enjoy a lot such as journaling, yoga, reading new books, learning a new language, started hiking and spending more times with my family and friends. One big self-care that I am proud of myself so far was setting boundaries and learning to express my feelings more. I think when I started to take myself on dates and being alone, I feel at peace.
