This is so great, thank you for covering this! I know many people say this is terrible for CDs, so I love seeing it as a viable option that actually works!!

I've never had a problem with any diapers I've boiled to prep. 🤷♀️ However! 😁 Like I said, this method isn't for everyone but it works for me so I wanted to share it. The diapers I prepped this way are ready to use, versus spending about $12 in coin op laundry to prep them. For me this is a no-brainer, but definitely up to each individual person. 💓 Thank you for watching and commenting!!!

Hi, I have 2 questions. First of all, do I have to prep flour sack towel too since it’s 100% cotton? Second, the instruction to wash my bamboo inserts is to use warm water. Is it safe to boil them then? Thank you 😊

Does this help with detergent build up?

What laundry detergent do you use to wash your cloth diapers? Do you use Borax ?

hey your second and third diaper bank links on your "Cloth Diaper For The Cost of A Box of Disposables!" video are no longer in existence

Thanks for the heads up :-) That video is about 4 years old, so unfortunately some of the banks may no longer be operating. Especially after the Pandemic :-( I'll update it when I have some free time. Thanks for watching and letting me know!

Love your videos! Does it get very expensive using coin operated machines for washing your cloth diapers? How much do you spend a week on it? I remember you said you used to have a small washer in your apartment. We also live in an apartment and we have the Giantex washer in our apartment. It just plugs into the wall and attaches into your sink for water. We are really happy with that washer. It’s great! And I’ve had it for about 2 years now. We also have a small dryer in our apartment. It does take up space but saves money on coin operated machines. Lots of love and keep the videos coming, they are amazing!

I hate to ask bc I know you are busy but I haven't recieved the giveaway package yet. I know it's coming a long distance but I was wondering if you have an estimated delivery date. I believe it was shipped almost a month ago.

Hmm, that is weird. I've never had an issue with anyone not receiving a Giveaway package. Sometimes packages from my small business get lost though, so it is possible. I'm not sure, I'll look into it and Email you so it's a little more private. You did receive the 3 new Trainers I bought and had sent to you from EcoAble though, correct?

Of course! I love it, it works so great, those prefolds are all ready to use now, versus spending $12 in the coin op laundry to prep them. 😀 Thank you for watching!!

How long do you boil them for? Should i be agitating them while boiling?
@jessisblessed66893 жыл бұрын
I boil them for a couple hours, I'd say around 2 hours. I've never actually timed it, I just boil them (& agitate them occasionally) until the water turns brownish like I showed in the video. Thank you for watching and commenting!!
