You can catch steelhead with shrimp the same bait should work for rainbow trout in lakes, looking forward to seeing your results and how you set up to catch more and bigger fish!

1 cup sugar,1/5 cup non iodized salt, 2 teaspoon pro cure red hot double stuff original egg cure ,if you want it natural color use the natural color egg cure

I never prep it and catch tons of trout. Caught a 28” rainbow the other day.

I'm surprised you haven't put some crawdad traps out at your dock and season the tail meat the same way as the shrimp.

@@ricksonora6656 Absolutely I know guys in the high mountain lakes before they freeze over that have crawdad traps of course they're using em for food not for bait , I was taught that when I was a little kid crawdad tails for bait work on any fish that swims the same as the nightcrawler Big fish love meat!
