How to prepare Pasta with minced meat and tomato sauce. Delicious pasta recipe for the whole family
Ingredients:
Mixed minced meat (pork and beef) - 500 g
Pasta fusilli (or shells, fiorelli-bows) - 400 g
Onion - 2 pcs.
Bell pepper - 1 pc.
Crushed garlic - 3 cloves
Tomato paste - 1 teaspoon
Mashed tomatoes - 250 g
Parmesan (or Pecorino, Cheddar) - 75 g
Olive oil (or vegetable oil) - 75 ml
Salt - to taste
Pepper - ½ tsp
Oregano - ½ tsp
Dried basil - ½ tsp
Sugar - ½ tsp
Green parsley
Dice two small onions or one large onion.
Dice a red bell pepper.
Sauté the onion for 3-4 minutes in 75 ml of oil, over medium heat. Add 3 cloves of crushed garlic. Stir and saute together for about two minutes.
Add ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon pepper, ½ teaspoon dried basil and ½ teaspoon oregano.
Add the chopped bell pepper. When the pepper has softened slightly, add 400 g of minced meat.
Saute the meat for about 10 minutes, on medium heat, then add 150 ml of hot water.
Cover the pot and let it boil for 20 minutes on low heat.
Add a teaspoon of tomato paste. Mix and add 250 g of pureed tomatoes.
We mix well.
Add salt to taste and 50 ml of hot water.
We mix well, cover the pot with a lid and let it boil on low heat for another 20 minutes.
Grate 75 g of Parmesan cheese and chop the green parsley.
Boil the pasta in 2 liters of boiling water with salt, according to the instructions on the package.
Add ½ teaspoon of sugar to the meat and tomato sauce to reduce the acidity of the tomatoes.
Mix and add 50 g of grated parmesan and chopped green parsley.
Mix until homogenized

Add the pasta directly from the pot in which it was cooked.
Add ½ cup of the water in which the pasta was cooked.
Sprinkle with chopped green parsley.
Pasta with minced meat is ready!
Garnish with parmesan and chopped green parsley.
