Can you just wash your jars in a dishwasher? Or do you have to hand wash?

Lots of folks do ready their jars in a dishwasher. I never have, even when I had one. Most dishwashers really don't clean as well as people believe (I used to sell appliances and took all of the manufacturer courses. Amazing how much gunk and bacteria is left on dishes). Washing by hand gives you the chance to inspect the jars a little closer and make sure they are 100% clean. Totally up to you and what you are comfortable with.
