I remember doing my own nails with an e file I bought super cheap from like… Shein I think. I never ever ever did nails and never looked up how to do them or even had mine done. Yet thought I could 100% do it on my own. I drilled a pretty deep and painful hole into the middle of my nail 💀😭😭 Luckily it’ll all fine now but that pain still lives on in my brain

I have been burned by nail techs countless times. I always warn them that my nails are very thin and sensitive and that I get burned by the drill and they don't believe me til it happens

I stopped getting mine done because every salon I went to burnt or cut me by using the dremel on my natural nail in prep. But my daughter is studying so I share all your videos with her. I appreciate your education for not only techs, but customers too who may not have known that something wasn’t/was supposed to be done a certain way. Also I love your machine (e-file) it is gorgeous ❤

Oh my goodness I've been burned and cut up by those drills..I knew they were just rushing but knew better!! I even would tell them right away how baby soft my real nails are..Then when I jump and say ouch, they try and look so surprised 🙄

When I went to nail school, my instructor was anti e-file, so I never learned. It wasn’t even part of the curriculum. I wonder if it is now? It’s always fun and interesting to see these shorts.

If you’re not applying pressure that I don’t know how you’re removing product. High RPMs can result to making mistakes, and when you go faster, those mistakes can be devastating. So I’m sorry but that info is totally wrong

@bakasta The one you mentioned is the safest and fastest removal technique, especially taught by russian masters. You must not apply pressure, must use high rpms and also must not go back and forth. Remove from cuticle to edge, using long, downward strokes with NO pressure. You were right👏🏻

You should use high RPMs and low pressure! Also don't stay in the same area for a long time. It's low speed that burns because you'll need to put pressure because it's not strong enough

How do you keep your efile from skipping ? Do I need to adjust the speed higher ? Or change how I'm holding the efile/moving my efile ?

Is there a decent cheaper/less expensive or easier to use for those of us doing nails at home not specifically trained like I’ve been doing my nails for years have a pretty good grasp of dos and donts and I want to move on to an efile but I don’t want to spend a lot obviously cuz it’s just me doing my own nails but I’ve gotten a couple cheap ones and yup u get what u pay for but there has to be something between salon quality and something u can use at home?? Thanks

Hi! I’m not sure what your price point would be but I use a melodysusie sr3 jade (the white one with a gold trim around it). I ordered it off Amazon in nov 2022 and I think I paid maybe $70 bc it was on sale. I’m a DIYer until I start school in may- it’s been doing the job for myself and my daughters nails. Melodysusie seem to be prettt popular and they have a good selection/price options. They usually have sales going on whether you shop thru Amazon or their website directly. I do recommend buying a few efile bits depending on what you do as far as your nails tho. The ones that come with the EFiles are pretty basic. Hope this helps!!! Happy Filing! ❤😂

I was always taught not to go back and forth. Always one direction. That reduced heat.

Also reduces time- play, reduce RPMs and gain control of your e-file with the proper bit. You’ll takeoff more products and going faster and not going back-and-forth.

Am I the only one that thinks the faster you go the less friction. I know how it sounds, but the less resistance is actually better just takes more control. 25-31,000 rpm is perfect for me. Just dance around the nail so it dont heat up
