If only 0.01% were successful, we would have 5 remarkable new releases every day. Question: Are about 2.000 great songs/tracks released every year? Do you remember only 5% of these songs? Well, most songs that hit the charts fall into oblivion very soon. Are there any new artists that have skills close to Sly Stone, Prince, Stevie Wonder etc ? Would they even be noticed amongst 50.000 releases every day? That's what your chances only to be heard look like, not even talking about fame. Music has become a mass product, mass products are worthless. Maybe music will be replaced by farting in public in future, you would get even more than just an audible experience...
