Before you are allowed to invest in an Audemars Piguet I understand there is a pronunciation test and if you fail you leave the store with a watch you can pronounce. And if you pronounce Rolex, Row lay, or something you get arrested. Watch buying is confusing.

Thank you, by coincidence a few years back when shopping at Milan, I did saw this brand of watch's shop, I knew it's a great brand but I don't quite knew how to pronounced it, so I just kept my mouth shut till the boutique's sales representative asked me which series of the watch's name I was searching for ... At then I just got the pronunciation right. But back to my country here, thou it had a boutique here, but very - extremely I often heard some rich people always said it "Audi Mars Pee Gwet" ... And I was silently laughing 'bout the way they'd pronounced. 'Cause if a word I'm not familiar with, I rather shut up and see who will speak it correctly for me, or, I'll just ask directly, there's no shame to ask as a tourist, rather than pronounce it all totally wronged and be a laughing stock ... It's a true fact, don't expect us foreigners as tourist knows French or Italian languages.

I just recorded it today! I still have to edit it and schedule it, but it will be published within 2 weeks at most :) Spoiler alert: I pronounce it "bré gué", which is how I hear most French speaker say it, but of course it depends on the region. Even Audemars Piguet can sound different in Belgium, where people (including myself) tend to pronounce the "et" sound at the end of a word like a "è" and not an "é". But "é" is how I hear most French people say it, as well as employees of the company.
