Hi sir/mam. Can the plant survive in 40 degree temperature? What will be the sunlight requirements during that temperature. What should be the potting mix ? Just got 2 plants now, am located in Chennai India

Some fuchsias stop forming flowers at higher temperatures.In warmer regions, fuchsia plant need more care . To get more blooms with fuchsias, give them bright indirect light and protect them from afternoon sun. Use any good quality potting mix and make sure the soil is light weight and drains well.Mix in a handful of compost to enhance soil fertility. For the new plants,to keep soil from overheating, site your fuchsia where the pot is shaded through much of the day.

@@GrowGreenGarden Thanks , got 2 fuschia plants in Chennai . Temperature will skyrocket to 40 degree in may . Will keep them in shaded area with lot of air n light . Miniature variety us already in bloom 😊
