_You_ look stunning today in that beautiful bright sunny blouse & a that smile! (You're _always_ gorgeous thou.) I really appreciate all the great plant tips & hints, over the years. I actually started my own landscaping business this summer! Got my 1st job last week, helping out a lovely senior clean out & fix up her front & back yards. Thank you for the confidence to just go ahead & do it. YOU ROCK WOMAN! *hugs from this Canadian gal XO EDIT: How much would you charge for one of these new little baby's that you've planted today?? 😘💕💕💕

Forever thankful for content creators who play the long game with these kinds of videos. It takes planning and patience to sit on footage for over a year and tie it together to tell the story! So much more valuable (to me) having the whole process consolidated to one video. Runners putting out runners... 🥴 I don't have great luck with propping runners... I LOVE obliqua and recently saw runner nodes for sale for like $30! But I didn't pull the trigger cuz I doubted myself.

Wow, Harli, thank you so much for taking the time to make content like this. I totally respect that this is the work that you do and the planning, recording, and overall hard work you put into your content is not lost on me!! I've learned so much from PlantTubers like you that now my real life friends think I'm a plant whisperer...ME, who used to kill each and every plant I've ever met!! Now I have a manageable for me 30+ plant collection that is thriving and has brought me so much wellness and joy. Could not have done it without creators like you!! I am currently propagating some wet sticks and string of hearts in spagh. I just checked in on my prop container today and there is growth peeking through!! Yay!! Could never have been able to do this without your guidance and teaching!! Thanks again!! ❤

Same! Harli was one of my original "educators"! I used to say I had a black thumb now I have my sister calling me to come help her with her dying plants! I have about 60 plants that I started most from node or one/two leaf cuttings that are thriving which is so exciting! Thanks Harli, love your content!!

1. Your content has been so good lately! I really enjoy the videos where you take clips over a time period. 2. Just based off this video, it seems like you are pretty risk seeking as opposed to risk averse. And it seems like Ryan is risk seeking as well as he is into investing.

When I move a plant to soil (I find sphagnum lends itself to more teetsy flies) I pull off the loose sphagnum and mix it with a chunky soil mix with lots of perlite and make a dirty moss mix.

In the future, if using a container like this, I’d recommend removing the sticker from the lid. That could block a majority of the light in the middle and contribute to runners in search of light. Also a tip for removing stickers like that is rubbing alcohol. Just a thought, I’m a plant newbie hehe. Love your videos.

Hi Harli, I always love your propagation videos, I love to propagate my plants, I do mine in water and would love to try them the way you do. I took my swiss cheese plant and cut a long runner into a lot of pieces, and so far in water they are really shooting out a lot of long roots. It is always so great to see you, and hopefully someday when I travel to Utah again I can meet up with you and your mom again, because when I got to meet the both of you, I was so excited for that happening. Thanks Harli for a great video, have a great week, sending love and hugs, bye for now. 🤣😉💜

Just saw your IG post Harli. I’ve already watched this video but didn’t drop a comment and give it some love like I wanted to (new mamma and baby woke 🤪) I absolutely loved seeing how you can get so much from one plant! I’ve never had success with moss props. I find my prop boxes are too wet and they get a little mouldy however I’m going to really start trying to figure it out as you make it look so simple and easy! Which is exactly what I need now being a mumma of a Velcro baby 🤪🤓🌿

I have a couple Obliqua peru node cuttings. I put one in tissue culture and the other in moss with mild nutrient solution, and the one in moss is doing way better. I think they need a shitload of oxygen (that's usually why plants grow slower in tissue culture)

This video is super helpful!! Quick question about prop boxes: I just started my first one and am having issues with it smelling bad. I threw some wet sphagnum moss into the bottom of a big plastic tub and poured a little water in, the humidity meter is reading 90%ish with the lid closed, and I thought that would be good, but it just smells funky in there... Do you air them out daily? Since the plants are in pots anyway, should I ditch the extra moss? Or is it okay that it smells weird, haha, not sure if it would be growing bacteria that might hurt the plants or maybe I got a bad batch of sphagnum moss?

Sorry Harli, I must have missed it, but why don't you prop them in individual cups? I have a monstera albo that got thrips ans I'm chopping it to the nodes and see if I can regrow it. Are individual cups OK for this? I just don't want to risk one node having thrip babies and spreading to the other two nodes.
