Great video Chris. I'm not very knowledgeable on mechanics I'm afraid apart from the very simple stuff so this was a good lesson on looking after your chain. It sounds like that bike was an accident waiting to happen. Putting air in the tyres is a quick simple job and it makes no sense to not at least do that.

Hi Chris. I found this video to be very informative and very useful. The chain slack of the bike in the video was shocking. I do hope, for the owners sake, your advice is taken onboard. I have a question for you relating to torque. I am a superlight owner, the torque value for the rear axle is listed as 105 Nm. The bike in the video is being set to 54 Nm of torque or is it in ft/lb?. I was expecting the torque values to be roughly the same. Could you please advise?

Hi Chris, good video with lots of tips. We have a lexmoto hunter 50cc. On the bike it say 15mm (1 in) free stoke??? “mm/in”??? Nothing in owner 3 pages book. What free play should the hunter have and what is the right axle bolts nm? How often do you recommend cleaning and lubing the chain. Cheers chris
@Ridingreviews
@Ridingreviews 3 жыл бұрын
so the 15 mm isn't set in stone you just have to make sure it ins't a banjo string (to tight ) the axel i don't know exactly for the hunter but the Honda ss50 is 60 nm toque and the hunter has the same size bolt so it should be the same

So are you saying I should be around 15 mm. when I got it from new the chain was VERY tight, no play. It’s had a service and I’m getting 35 mm play I think it’s looks a bit loose. I’m just starting my adventure on bikes so any help I would appreciate. Thanks again
