How to Properly Clean a Kirby Bag

I just got a G5 from a lady who didn't want it, I washed the bag in the bathtub, it was nasty, just tons of dirty water. I absolutely love the color of the G5, its my favorite in the G series

so will the bags get dirty if you use the HEPA bags? I noticed whoever used it was using paper
