2 questions, but really judgements (sorry, kind of): - who the heck didn’t toast that tortilla (by toast I mean on a pan with fat). Don’t microwave your tortillas…. - why are you wrapping a taco amount of filling in a burrito. Nope lol. Wrap technique is decent though. The second set of folds aren't necessary. Back 25+ years ago, I ran a Mexican restaurant. I had to do this ~100 times a day. The first folds are done on a bit of a skew, tapering the top portion. THEN you do your third fold, finger tip tuck the ingredients. THEN your last fold and you end up with a perfect tube of flour tortilla and toppings 🤘

At first I was like "Yeah, no shit, that is how you fold a burrito." and then I was like "Wait, not everyone grew up with Mexican neighbors to teach them this." and I thought... yeah that's fair, some people could use the instruction. Remember folks! Just because something is ubiquitous or common to you, doesn't mean it is for everyone else. So whenever you see a tutorial on how to do some 'basic shit', it's not basic to everyone, somebody probably needs it! And just to actually add something useful: Microwave the tortilla or heat it in a skillet for about 10 seconds first, the heat and steam will make the gluten in the flour more elastic, which will let you stuff more crap into your burrito without it breaking or tearing.
