How to Properly Ice your Foot after Surgery or an Injury

I had never been told that before - about icing the place where blood comes to the site, instead of trying to apply ice pack over a huge bandage . . . genius! OF COURSE you cannot get cold to the site if it's packed and covered with inches of dressing! Much easier to keep on, as well. Great advice!
