Hi . This is the first video out of a Million I've searched for that actually talks about this. Thank you..😊 I bought 4 , 2" Spanish Lavender seedlings back in June. They are in small fabric bags. Today, they are 10-12" . I live in Toronto Canada. We can get lots of snow and freezing rain weather . Everyone has told me just to toss them . Get new ones next year. Being they are Spanish Lavender.. Well I put alot of love into these. Now watching your video has given me a idea. Can you tell me if this will keep them alive.. I have a Florida Room attached to the side of my house. The 3 wall are windows. It's not isolated or heated . If I put the 4 fabric bags into a Rubbermaid bin then filled it up with grass and leaves , put it in the cold but protected Room. Do you think they would survive .?? If this will work, when should I do it? What temperature ? This is my first time growing Lavender. I have no idea what to do Do you have any other suggestions? I would really appreciate any info you have. It's starting to get cold now. Cheers

Hello, well.....spanish lavender is a little difficult because they will resist only - 5 celsius degrees! A long time ago, i had a biiiiiig one in a pot, and in the winter i just put it inside on an unheated balcony and cover all of it including the pot with some agril material for protection. That balcony was attached to the kitchen and had a window there and i would just leave the window semi opened for the heat inside the house to ge there. They do need light even in the winter. If you can provide light and a little heat you could have success. Gardening is all about failure and succes....on a small scale, thats why is fun....hope you succeed!🤗
