Lol I realize this video is 2 years old but this really helped me with a new aero garden I just got! Thank you!

Agree with other statements. Very helpful. Straight to the point, and easy to see illustration of the process. Unlike other channels with way too much chit-chat, poor illustration, and bad camera work. Thank you!

This was incredibly easy to follow and super direct. Showing how to prune all of the herbs and just making it fun and easy to follow! Thank you!

I just got a Aerogarden farm. I’m growing peppers in mine. I plan on pruning them in the style of something like a bonsai.

Just over 2 weeks into my Aerogardening, and this was very helpful! Do you have any videos on how to dry the prunings for later use?
@InTheGarden2 жыл бұрын
I don't currently have any videos about drying the herbs. I typically hang mine, or lay flat to dry then store in a mason jar.

Thanks for this video. I too, recently received an AeroGarden as a gift and was clueless on how to proceed. I do have a question however. I’ve noticed that the root structure on all of my herbs seem to be quite full and thick. Should I consider removing the herbs from the Aero garden and planting them in a separate pot or is this something that I shouldn’t worry about? Thanks for all of your help!

It's really up to you. You can definitely transplant to soil if you want, but you don't have to, they should continue to grow fine in the aerogarden. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching 😊 🌱

I have the heirloom salad green set, that just this weekend has shot up big time. Do I prune this the same, or is their another way to do so. Thanks!

for lettuce, you can either trim the tops of the plants, leaving at least 2/3 of the plant remaining, or you can trim off larger leaves from the outside of the plants. Hope this helps, thanks for watching 😊🌱

I started my herb garden Aug 27. My basil and mint are doing well but my dill is thin-stemmed and not growing straight. It's flopping over. Today I did some light pruning hoping it might bounce back. What can I do?
@InTheGarden Жыл бұрын
The only suggestion I can think of off the top of my head is make sure your light is as low as possible. Thin plants that can't stand up are usually light deprived, or what we call "leggy". Understandably, if the other plants are taller it may not be possible to put it all the way down, but lower it as much as you can for all the plants. Hope this helps 😊🌱

My basil did not do well! Any suggestions!

There could be a few things, but generally speaking you want to make sure you keep the water filled, add plant food appropriately, start pruning early and keep the light as close to the plants as possible. And make sure the location of the AeroGarden isn't somewhere very hot or cold, like next to a stove or a drafty window. Hope that helps 😊
