Cool. Brings back memories of model building and decals. I'm guessing that a lot of the lures on the market are finished this way. I'm a retired designer and for fun have taken up airbrushing lures (for practical daily use) and think this may just be very practical.

Great video, for whatever it's worth, I am using Word and I changed the margins on the sheet to narrow and went with the smallest top/bottom and side to side margins that it allowed me to use and was able to get quite a few more logos on each sheet. Thanks for the good info~

Cool ! Testers paints makes a decal spray to cover the decal paper. They also make smaller sheets 4 1/2" X 8". I you want to print white ink you need to find a ALPS printer. Also find a hobby store that has a product called Decal Set, this helps the decal conform to any textured lure.

I discovered this waterslide paper about 6 months ago. Awesome stuff. I've been using it for my @CricketCustomLures logo on my lures. I never thought to try this out for some fins or even scales.

You can crop in Word by using text boxes and drop your image inside the box. I do the newsletter for our 140 member wood carving club and use Word to produce it.

RE white logo; you could test out printing a pale cyan logo. It should trick the eye into looking white against many backgrounds.

For the white could you make a stamp with uv polymer and then stamp on waterslide paper in white paint. I think I saw an instructable on making your own rubber stamps.

Yes! You have to make sure your paint is completely dry first and then its just a few light coats

Hello mate...that looks great...i have done the same however i still can see the paper a bit on my own lures. İ mean the paper a bit thick so how much ever i do clear coating at the end i am still able to see the paper . Especially the cutted line. But i cant see that line on your lure...how did you hide that part? Could u let me know ? Thanks.

Sometimes on a darker lure I can see the paper shining. But I haven't had any issues with there being a hard line. Wonder if its just a different brand of paper. Sorry, I'm not much help on that one lol
