Is there any way you could compare each of these to regular swapping? I’d love to see timers for each. It looks like the scuttle switch method is fairly fast if you can get it down

Some people have done comparisons and bucket can be about .15s faster. I dont use the bucket because it doesn't really seem worth it to me. The scuttle/changing server method (also works when u hourglass dive) is the same speed as regular swapping, you're just able to pull out your gun after the timer is up. So there is no advantage, you just arent penalized for sprinting which is what I think was intended by the devs.

For those calling QS an exploit or a crutch Its not about being able to QS speed its about fluidity of movement in combat and being able to NOT be stopped by janky animations. I can literally skeet you with sword and theres nothing you can do to stop it now. So yes, please tell me QS is a crutch.

What i found, the timer for the game is like... almost a second. Generally, i would ads reguarly bc there can be a glotch where you wont ads when swaoping unless you aimed before. Youd just need to mentally time when to sprint+ads and itll be fine.

honestly it would have been balanced if the sword was locked as one of your weapons. The whole game is about being a pirate, and they pretty much always used sword/pistol or sword/musket, and sometimes sword/blunderbuss.

​@@musket001if you want to get historic about it pirates prefer firearms. There were also hand axes and boarding piles they preferred over swords. That said I don't like fighting double gunners but I can still respect the skill it takes to do it.

​@@SirSparrowHawk What I meant was they usually had a melee weapon on them at all times. Knife, cutlass, rapier, boarding axe, harpoon spear, they'd have one. (Apparently they actually did use harpoon spears) Also, original ADS didn't take much skill. As long as you could aim, you could two-tap someone in a second and effectively make swords useless. Personally, I feel like swords are a staple of the pirate experience, and double gunning just ruined that. At some point, even I switched to Blunder-Sniper because of the advantage--and got pretty good at it in a week. Switched back to sword sniper now because I can handle that really well and still have mobility tho

I guess all hourglass divers are server hoppers are exploiters 😭 The bucket gives max a 10 frame advantage and it's very hard to do in fights, so it's not worth it to do or learn.
