And when everyone in multiplayer agrees to define somethings as not cheating, they are no longer cheating. Sometimes people even vote. Some people even have cheating as their whole enjoyment and like playing against other cheaters. Cheating is a stupid way of saying modding, modifying vanilla behavior to your likings, somehow when a mod goes away from vanilla, it gets a free pass.

No, Cheating is still Cheating even in singleplayer, but it's more a question of is it morally acceptable, which I absolutely think it's fine. no matter what you do, someone is gonna have a problem with the way you doing it, there's people that get seriously annoyed about people fast travelling because you're ignoring all the effort put into the environment.

@@GearWorks Cheating is a harmful thing to do no matter where you look at it. In single player games cheating harms nobody so it doesnt count as cheating imo, its more like having fun with games which you are suppose to do?! That matter with fast travel, if you pass near an environment 14 times your brain actually memorize it and starts to ignore things in that environment. So after a while its only natural that you want to skip those parts and quickly reach your point. You already saw what is made you already admired it. I played Skyrim excessive amounts i might be able to draw a map of it. I know the amount of work that has been put in that game but also appreciate the fast travel because of that huge map. That Markarth City and amount of things in it, my favourite city mmmhh delicious :D My point is that fast travel argument was a stupid one in the first place anyway, again imo :D

​@@Th3Drag0nN3stI like what you said, I think it's cute, it's nice but pretty sure technically it's still cheating, not speaking from opinions, if there was a proper exact definition for cheating in video games, I think we could both agree that what he is doing would most likely fall under it's definition even if it doesn't impact other players experiences, it's still cheating, again you don't care that he does it, neither do I and neither does he. I think it's pretty neat, using the developer features to change the speed of the game and use an auto clicker, if this was some sort of MMO he'd get banned haha. Just saves a bunch of time.

Hey Farket have you ever noticed how the orb artifact affects patrol routes? It’s very interesting. They’ll ignore the route even if it’s at the land bridge.

200 swings give or take = one level. If you want to duplicate cloth, you can in dev mode, activate item hack then open your Inventory use combine button to add all the cloth you can then cancel, I think it generates about 30 cloth at a time, works for sap, coins, circuit boards etc etc. Once you turn item hack off again you will see your new totals.

The timeskip gives me an idea of a challenge you should do! You should timeskip so many days before starting your playthrough so it starts on a harder cannibal level idk how the mechanics work or if its possible but it'd be cool to see you start fresh but waaaaaaay later in the game when its harder!

I got The Forest for PlayStation a long time ago but mainly play it on PC these days. Not being able to use console commands on PS4 is odd but not a deal breaker for me, had loads of fun playing it legitimately. That said, ARK allows console users to enable console commands and that had zero negative effects on performance or anything. I think they disabled the ability on console just because people would use them to quickly gain the platinum trophy 😉

yo farket I was thinking about an idea for your base. I think if you use costum foundations inside the walls right under the bridge on the wall so it will looks more realastic since that small wood should not rly be able to hold you on it and not break :D also after building the custom foundations under it u can fill it with rock wall (build rock walls inside the custom foundation) and dont build it on doorways tho ofc. I used it for my own base it really looks good and built 4 custom platform on each side of the walls with rope so I can climb it too.

Hey Farket, love the videos. I dont know if this is known or not but I hypothesize standing near a fire burns calories very slowly. I was at +3 calories while playing with a friend and went afk to get a drink and when I came back I was at -6 calories. I was inside a house boat so maybe being inside near a fire acts like a sauna?

To dupe on console you need to be in multiplayer. Place the tray then put 31 of something in it and then cancel it. It will give you and extra 31

RE: Cloth duplication... it's only on multiplayer, put 31 or more on the sharing tray, cancel while it's still on the crafting mat and voila 30 extra cloth. works for all stackables gun ammo, leaves, feathers ect

@@beastymusictm1452 most of them are pretty easily ignorable (if you don't want to exploit them) or at least to be worked around, though. I just hate the one where the logcart yeets you into orbit; happens to me far too often on mp servers... although, the most annoying has to be the one that just kicks you off the server when there are quite a few players on and some of them pass through a loading zone... I once lost the modern axe,4 crafted bags, the rebreather, crossbow, flare gun, and all the secret blueprints because of it.. "I was pissed" just doesn't come close... since then I frantically save every 10 minutes when I'm on a mp server (I actually set a timer to go off every 10 min...)
