Wow! “many of us feel trapped in other peoples stories” - those words are powerful - thank you!

As a nurse by trade, I found this discussion relatable. With current norms being as they are we as a collective are looking for purpose. This conversation between two highly motivated beings emphasizes the importance of connecting with our divine calling. By listening to our bodies and following our passions. Thank you for providing much needed enlightenment.

T'his is so interesting. I often feel as if I am trying to insert myself into someone else's story. Its a frustrating, even heart breaking way to look at life. So much more fulfilling to see my own story and others as supporting characters.

As a recent graduate from physician assistant school, I can agree with the notion that I care to connect and help others but have concern about being confined by bureaucracy and lack of nuance of insurance and EHRs. There is such a pressure in healthcare to not necessarily be the best, but to not be seen as a failure. Great talk ZDogg

Really enjoyed you guys. Can’t wait for the second show. Grateful for the honest talk. Thanks ZDogg for this and so much more. Don’t doubt your passion and current path. Totally authentic. Looking forward to Johnny’s book The Story Solution next after Awake: It’s Your Turn.

I found you early on during the pandemic, learned later on you were Doc Vader, listened to almost all of your Covid related and had your awakening series on for background noise. I suffer panic attacks... (I have issues) I have PTSD (Opening myself up here) I have trolled you on your videos concerning vaccines, not out of meanness, I find comfort in your calmness and your emotional awareness even when I disagree with you.. you really are one if my grounding techniques... but this... this discussion really hit home, this is better than the stream I just watched with you and Doctor Prassad discussing trying to get the kids back to normal lives, and how Europe has us beat... but this video... definately the best... thank you, seriously, thank you for what you do, and thank you for this video...

I really enjoyed this show. It touches on what I was felt to be missing in my life but couldn’t describe. Like with Dr Angelo DiLullo as well. Love it. Thank you ZDogg. Love all your shows, Dr Zoffness pieces and VPZD Podcast. I not always agree with Dr Prasad but love to hear his perspective and yours on current news on health policies. Downloading J Truant on audible. Reading Dr DiLullo.

I relate so much to being stuck in the wrong story or maybe onto something that might be the right path but it's just a little off. I loved studying biochemistry and loved so much about it but there's a lot of stuff that comes with it that's just not me. When people find out I have the degree, they're always like so what's next and what are you going to do with it? I always feel the need to defend why I haven't gone anywhere with it but this episode has me thinking that maybe there was some things that were good about it and are my path but it's just not quite right for me. Thank you so much for this. I did so much reflection and introspection during this episode to the point I had tears because it was so relatable. I was looking up the book on audible and honestly might check out that vampire thing too. The synopsis has me intrigued. Looking forward to the next one so much.

I’m having a weird moment where I feel like I’ve already heard a podcast from Zubin where he discusses with a guest how stories already exist, they just need to be uncovered. I remember zubin comparing it to how marble sculptors say the sculpture is already in the block, they just need to uncover the extra. Can someone please help me with this? I have no idea what episode this was and it seems like him and Johnny b truant are planning to record another show where they speak about this topic. I feel like I was teleported back in time and it is quite weird to experience. Please let me know if anyone can clear this up for me

Hey there! I don’t expect anyone to see this. But on spotify, there is a glitch, and for this episode, the other Johnny B Truant episode plays for some reason. So there are 2 postings of your other interview, and this one looks like it’s on Spotify, but indeed it is not. Just wanted to throw that out into the ether hahaha! Cheers

What a great and interesting conversation! This theme of rewriting one's story resonates a lot with me... but now I wonder if you can rewrite your story many times in your lifetime, considering our evolving nature and the impermanence of reality ... I definitely prefer to think of that possibility and the idea of not being trapped in a single and unchangeable story line... the big question is how do you reconcile that with societal expectations and beliefs... Please invite him again! There's so much to talk about this... I already got his book on my kindle! My book list keeps growing and your guests keep getting better and better!

Love you, Dr. D. However, one reason I'm not a fan of guests like Truant and DiLullo is: (1) they seem to have very little sense of humor (this is particularly awkward for those proclaiming to be "spiritual"); and (2) they seem to be these somewhat narcissistic 140 IQ types who basically float through academia with straight As (even in med school or grad school), and in that sense they feel--at least to me--unrelatable. By contrast, ZDogg's recent guest, Rachel Zoffness, is a total delight. Her energy matches almost perfectly with Zubin's energy. This is not really a criticism but more of an observation. I think Vinay's and Marty's energy also really match Zubin's very well. Great combinations of fun & serious analysis.
