I can't believe that he didn't point out that it's un-Islamic for a husband to just walk into the house with another wife. He is supposed to ask permission from his first wife. He can only marry a second wife if his first wife gives permission and accepts her husband's choice.

Although, I am quite impressed with Mr. Ghamidi's knowledge & research. But like most other Islamic scholars he fails to acknowledge & educate those who claim to be "Muslims" is that all the Islamic laws are applicable to Muslims only. A Muslim is someone who voluntarily accepts, acknowledges Almighty's slavery, yes he/she is a slave of Allah by choice & must do everything to please Him to pass the test in this life for success in eternal life. Islamic laws are not meant for rebels of Allah.

Right now in world hardly in asian countries muslim men marry more than one wife ! i have seen personally families in which men married more than one are in deep turmoil ! One should always look for better ways ! Children doesnt get that care and affection ! it leaves scars on thier hearts ! This is allowed no doubt ! but one shud avoid polygamy !

the scholar should have cleared the woman that there is no binding of 4 marriages. Even more are not forbidden if one can do justice.

Did you just blamed the wife for a husband marrying again while his first wife is still married. If prevention Zina is the reason then women should also be able to move on from their husband and marry again.

ntntntntnt there is no need for that in islam otherwise no wife will give permission for second wife moreover there is no hadees or ayat that tells that man has to take permission from his wife he has the right to take 4 wifes without taking permission from others
