Yes the phone is recording the audio input from the irig. Irig is linked to the drum module, everthing sent from drum module to irig will be captured by the Phone mic input

My problem is that I can't hear what I'm playing while I'm recording I only hear the plastic sounds and not the sounds from my drum module. I only got an aux in and a headphone/output on my drum module. The aux in is connected to my iPod and the headphone/output is connected to the iRig guitar input. Could you please help me out?

The input goesbto the Irig and the headphones goesbto your output I think

I am about to try a "Y splitter AUX cable extension cord" to split the output port. The headphone port on the Irig1 is not working for me to hear myself while recording. I bought all the cables and Irig on Temu for less than $10

Yeah I like it not been really drumming with it for a few months btw this was a knock off irig but it works just as wel I got 2 of them for 10 bucks. A year Already man time flies 😅👍

@@Automotivepanda done it but still don't work with this s20 fe sorry. Samsung have informed that it cannot be used and I can only record with a 3.5 mm normal headphone jack on this phone so I'm a bit confused

@@ashcurt66 Hope this doesn't come too late... Correct me if I'm wrong - Samsung S20 fe doesn't have a 3.5mm audio jack... so what you need is a USB-C to 3.5mm audio adapter and it will work just fine~

Essentially, the audio and cables are not the issue; I have all the necessary cables. However, the camera isn't working properly; it only records external sounds as if nothing is connected.

It only picks up the microphone sounds it won't bypass the microphone and pick it up through the iRig. What am I doing wrong I'm pretty sure everything's set up correct..

Yeah there is some settings in the program you have too adjust probably don't really know 🙂
