Maria R I know what you mean! I have 2C/3A hair and usually just wear is wavy as the week goes on by braiding it, etc. If I try to revive it it gets weighted down by products and the waves/curls don't have that bounce! But I like my heatless waves and curls so I have fun!

I have so many good things to say about this video!!! It's super helpful, especially for people like me. I'm a horse back rider and having my hair in a low ponytail and flying around really messes up my chances of having good hair the next day! The Ultra Glued gel is actually my HG hard hold gel during the summer. I have 2b hair but when I slap that sucker on over a curl enhancer I can get 2c or even 3a curls that LAST. It leaves a cast, of course, but it scrunches out easily. Plus, it has polyquaternium-69 which is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to fighting frizz in humid climates. Which is great, since I live in the southeastern US and it's humid here for most of the year.

I'm the mama of a curly girl and we have this issue all the time. Her ponytail/bun gets SO tangled. 😣 Before finding Bianca, I pulled my daughters hair up in protective styles daily & now her 3b/3c curls are loose at the roots and perfect curlies at the ends. Anyone have advice for reviving the curls at the roots? We've had devacuts & follow Biancas routine daily.

I would suggest for a while stay away from tight styles, if you really feel the need to put the hair away, do it very loosely. I have this issue too, but I see a little bit of difference when I almost completely stopped putting my hair up and smoothing my hair. I also try scrunching my roots as much as possible.

I agree with looser styles maybe wearing wash n go’s and I know with kids that’s not always the best styles but maybe wash n go styles with a little pulled up loosely in the front and deep condition to get the life back in the curls and some sort of protein treatment. I started doing protein once a month and deep conditioning weekly my curls are bouncy back
