I like learning that - men need time to process deep emotions. I met a man recently who was super keen. We're mature in our sixties. After our second meeting, he flipped a bit. I heard through the grapevine that he was 'blown away' by both my stunning looks (obviously that's subjective not a statement of myself) and who I am and what I've done in life. He described me as being 'on par', which was how I described him to my friends. He hasn't disappeared, but he said he was 'keen' to do lunch, but then hasn't acted upon my invitation. I like him a lot, so am trying to sit on my hands so to speak. I never learned how to navigate relationships, so am extremely grateful for the wisdom you and your guests are generously imparting. Thanks and love Sara 🌹

Thanks to your video’s Helena and Adrienne I learned about vulnerability! I also thought vulnerability was weak and so scary! Vulnerability in fact is just showing your emotions, positive and negative, meaning telling the guy whatever we feel. For me I realized that I disconnected with my own feelings, so was not able to connect with men! Now I start to reconnect with my feelings... next step being able to express them and voice them! I am already able to cry when on my own, next step not locking those emotions in front of people As you say, your vulnerability will connect with the right man ❤️ If he then accuses you to be drama, he is not yours. So still little agenda 🙈 hope I will be able to reconnect with the man I am dating and is pulling away right now 🥰 If not, I will be happy that Thanks to my short connection with him, I started to reconnect with myself, the love story of my life ❤️

I was seeing a guy long distance who runs 2 businesses, however, I felt like I was always the one reaching out...and then became anxious about that...despite that he was talking about the next time we were going to see each other. We were supposed to talk this morning, I sent him a text with no response, so I shut it down in a kind and respectful way. Looking back, that may have been wrong, but sometimes the distance is that he's not into you.

**Remember though** A lot of guys aren't emotional and cutting off contact with his current fling is not a big deal. Another thing, if you're limiting your selection to a guy with a lot of the right things in place, he has other 'options'. Worst thing you can do with that kind of guy is expecting commitment long-term. Most men want variety during late teens through 20s. Libido starts dropping in the 30s so the roaming aspect usually drops. . . .

Hey Helena, The first part of the video you two explains how it's necessary to give the men space. Let him come back and pursue you. For the reattraction part : how do I let him have space and still communicate my vulnerability? How can we reattract when he's distant(no communication) as we'd need to be able to talk for us to communicate our vulnerability? Seems a bit comnfusing. Is this something we do ONCE(if) he comes back? Explain to him how we have been feeling while he was being distant? Wouldn't that make us seem needy?

Helena and Adrienne : I truly learn so much from both of you! Thank you for sharing these insights! How do we strike a balance between being vulnerable / authentic and respecting a breakup decision during a breakup? When you talk to him during the breakup, should you be very composed and tell him you feel sad but respect his/ your decision (mutual breakup decision) and wish him the best? Or say all of that and actually allow your tears to slip out? It's hard to hold it all together during a breakup.

He then starting questioning us, and that he doesn't have enough time for a relationship. He said many times how he loves me, but his actions are saying something completely different. Even though he is very busy with 3 kids and his job, he took up running where now he will go out of town for races. He is NOT cheating, but has now put this ahead of me in relation to importance (over me). I ended the relationship 2 weeks ago. He has not contacted me. It's really beautiful to watch your videos Helena. And I actually feel very relaxed and grounded when I watch these. So my question is will he really come back if he's completely pulled away like more than a month now. I had always practiced leaning back and he pulled away like a couple of times and again came back, but this time I am not sure. As he was not ready for a relationship I asked him to walk away and think for himself what he wants. He said he will talk about that later but then never showed up. Even if once he noticed me having fun on social media he never made a move towards me, that kinda hurt me a little. But I'm keeping calm with myself by watching your videos, even if I got anxious sometimes. So what is your advice for me?? Anything would be really helpful.. Thank you so much🙂
@HelenaHartCoaching6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The best way to get his energy coming back towards you if he’s the right man for you - or create the space for an even better man to show up who’s not going to keep pulling away - is to open up your energy to other men who ARE available and ready for the kind of relationship you want. Men do often come back around, but typically only after you TRULY move on and create the space for him to go through whatever he needs to go through on his own right now. This video should be helpful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2LRg4eujdxshsk

@HelenaHartCoaching5 жыл бұрын
If it's only been two weeks and the man is pulling away, that's a sign that he's not that interested or not going to be "in it" for the long haul. If he truly is just busy these tools can work to draw him back towards you, although I would take your focus off of him for now and make yourself available to men who ARE pursuing you.

In the initial stage of potential mutual interest arising I got triggered by my unresolved issues (attachment trauma) and pushed him away by acting out my frustration, being impatient and needy, basically letting him know (even if just by the tone of my voice) that he is useless and not stepping up to my expectations! :( Although I apologised (explaining that I was going through a tough time, not being myself and lied that it had nothing to do with him) and started to lean back, two months have now passed and the guy (with whom I work) has remained totally shut down. Sometimes I feel a slight change for the better but then he takes a step back again. Is there any way of turning around such a situation? Making him feel safe again and coming towards me? I am trying to lean back, give him space, focus on myself and body sensations etc but basically my question is: do you think that sometimes this kind of shut-down is just simply irreversible no matter what the woman does?
