Great video, cake did a really smart move by targeting the right audience, it's clear the motokbike market will never have EV's unless another tesla like company makes a new EV motorbike so good that you just can't mistake it for something else

I think the massive barrier you describe is quite nonexistent and stereotypical also non related to this video as you describe cake doesn't even target this audience. Electric motorcycles could be superior to gasoline, but its the physics and price that limit their success. Heavy batteries make bad riding experience, bikes cant have long range because they don't benefit from aerodynamics like teslas. When trying to match gasoline bikes stats evbikes generally costs 3x. Most lighter electricmotorcycles I have driven have superior driving handling, its just that they dont scale to larger bikes and cost way too much. Without some massive battery tech improvements we will prolly never have comparable large ev motorcycles that could challenge the gasoline versions
