I am thrilled to find this particular video. I have such bad sciatica in both legs....urrgh! Live in Portugal and am 67 yrs old with osteoarthritis. I am very active but we have stairs in our apartment and boy they are killers. Always used chiropractors in South Africa but here it is a costly expense. So thank you. All your videos are so welcome!

@@sathishlingala5174 avoid surgery if you can. I stuck to a routine of doing all the recommended chiropractor exercises. I am 68 with severes oteoporosis arthritis and have had two knee replacements and five pip joint replacements in my hands. But I draw the line with my spine. Sure, it has degenerated but the exercises help me manage it. I cannot afford to visit chiropractors locally (Portugal) for a maintenance program. However, I follow their advice on line. I have used chiros for my entire adult life. They saved my daughter's life when she was 5 yrs old and I have total faith in there discipline. I even used them for my cat! Your spine is your life....

I am going to try these, mine is definitely worse on the right side but can feel like it’s affecting the left side also on though not all the way down the leg seems like doctors look at me in disbelief when I say both. It’s like my body doesn’t respond to the normal PT exercises and stretches and I don’t know why. I do like your channel the best

Hi Doc, I've been having a different kind of pain all around the left hip like on the borders of it, I keep having this burning sensation all along the hip from front to back. Been to various types of docs including gut doctors as i first thought it was something wrong with my gut, but with no help. It is definitely not because of my gut as I've recently noticed that while i squat i get a feeling of a pinched nerve on the left hip when i go deeper. So my question is is this doc, is this sciatica? I've been through several diagnosis with no help. Please shed some light on this if you can doc, I'd appreciate it!

I’ve been reading about bilateral sciatica and everywhere says it’s a red flag and should go to ER. I have bilateral sciatica but it comes and goes, and is not very painful at all. I have some tightness in lower back and some leg pain in both legs down to the feet. Should I be concerned?

Bilateral sciatica is usually a sign of bilateral foraminal stenosis (or even central canal stenosis). I always recommend consulting with a local chiropractor or doctor when it comes to sciatica.

So I’d describe my symptoms as tightness in lower back, like right on the spine. When I feel my back, my L4/L5 is tender, and with extension it feels tight. The weird part is I have on and off pain down both legs, but the leg pain has gotten less over few months. It’s almost like a pain in the legs once in awhile that lasts for a few seconds. No other symptoms. I am kind of young, 20 years old, and am worried this could be cancer or tumor or something. What do you think? Thanks

I don't have any pain but numbness down the back my left leg into my feet. Sometimes my other lower leg has numbness too. Tingling in feet and shoulder/arm is a constant too. I have no pain, just pins and needles. Is this sciatica?

I really don’t have the pain in my low back( some tenderness) the pain is in the back of both thighs ( severe cramping) and, shooting nerve pain, in the thighs to the back of the knee, and, into the calf, could it be from inflamed tendons, weak muscles, and/or, sedentary lifestyle?

Thanks for your videos, I've watched quite a few and they are informative and helpful. I have a query regarding sciatica, I had a flare up about a two weeks ago, the pain down my hip and leg has diminished a lot. However, the weakness in my leg persists and is making it very difficult to move for any distance with a feeling that it will collapse at any moment. Is it normal that the leg weakness will persist beyond the initial intense pain of the flare up? Would you suggest doing the back strengthening exercises (as per your videos) or some other exercises, for example leg exercises? Appreciate your work.

I’m obviously not the doctor but absolutely you could have residual nerve damage and probably should see a doctor. I had a very intense sciatic flare and was left with profound like weakness and I should’ve seen a doctor right away

I have Scoliosis with 20 degree right curve and Degenerative Disc Disease. Everytime I stand or walk I get a numbing sensation going down my left leg all the way to my toes.
