Can we get an updated video for the new Steam Big Picture update? the update really makes it seem impossible to adjust key bindings. EDIT: I found the controller settings. Open Big Picture Mode -> Library -> Choose desired game to edit controller bindings -> click controller icon on right side of screen -> click edit layout near top right of screen -> viola!

My Big Picture Mode shows a different layout/user interface than this one. Because of that I can't follow the steps in sequence as shown here. For example, there is a Settings button when I open Big Pic mode, only it's at the bottom left corner, and not at the top right corner as shown here. And pressing it brings up a different layout than the one shown here at 0.50. I'm particularly looking for a guide to map buttons for the retro game Raiden Legacy. No matter what I do, I can't get the A,B,X and Y button to do the Firing. Instead, the small tiny Start button in the middle of the controller is doing all the firing! I hope you could do this video with the layout I mentioned. For a newcomer to Steam, we must follow every step EXACTLY as shown in the guide videos, or else we will get lost in the bowels of Steam's super complex configurations chaos - from a newcomer 's perspective, that is.

What I found that works is when you're in the controller config, go to the common layouts section and select one that has similar button mapping to what you would want. From there you can alter certain buttons if you would like.

how can I differentiate the key assignment? When I drive a car, for example, I want to control the gear shift up and down with x and o (keyboard q and e). But this only works when driving a car, otherwise you should use the x (spacebar) button to jump.

I play Tarkov with controller ,and as a console gamer my whole life im baffled that Sony or Xbox has not added this type of customization to controller key binds .Mapping three functions on one button is genius that gives us 48 key binds !Not including the other 16 if u use paddles , there's only 104 keys on a keyboard we barely use even a quarter in games for binds. This makes a lot of pc games including tarkov playable so many pc games could be playable. Assuming the hardware could handle it!And of all things Steam came up with this wow good going console company's smh

I can't make anything work right - in fact when people reply to me on KZbin and I hit reply to reply back to them, it never takes me to their comment… I just have to sort through all the comments and look for the comment I am replying to. My controller sometimes doesn't work. I.e. I press a button(s) and nothing happens, or severely delayed. Additionally, let's say I'm using the left stick to walked forward, it will randomly go left or something.

Didn't work for Spyro the Reignited Trilogy at all. I try to remap left trigger to right stick press (to center the camera), and triggers to right stick left/right moving (to rotate the camera), but it takes no effect.

i got a problem here, so i used kunai gamepad 3 for rog phone 5. then i used it on pc with steam, it worked properly in other games but on genshin impact, it detected as dual shock ps 4 and the button was just really different, example the A button doesn't work and Y button becomes B button inside the game. do u guys have any idea?
