You should try it on a Maine truck! I hope you like eating rust cause there's going to be plenty. Even if you drop the tie rod there's still no room for a bolt extractor.

What size are the bolts that hold tierod section on?

Correction turn your wheel all the way to the left and you'll have enough room to drop it through without removing those two bolts
