I love your charger rt. I’m planning on buying a 2008 charger rt. But I’m in high school. Would you recommend me this car? And what are some common problems with the charger rt?

I would most definitely recommend the Charger RT man for sure. But if I were you I would get a 2006 to 2010 Charger SRT8. I know you said you're in high school and everything and the SRT8 Charger would cost you more money so believe me I know what your budget is looking like LOL. So if the Charger SRT8 is too expensive then the next best thing is the Charger RT HP as an alternative. If you were going to get a Charger RT I would recommend you to get a 2009 or a 2010 year model because in 2009 Dodge started using the VVT Hemi engine which means variable valve timing. When they started using the VVT engine the horsepower went up from 340 to 370 horsepower meaning the old 9 and 10 Charger RT is a little faster than a 2006 to 2010 RT. As far as the common problems with them I would say is the suspension. No matter what years are do you get the suspension is always pretty much the first thing to go bad meaning of upper and lower ball joints control arms tie rod ends stuff like that. Other than that if you do regular oil changes at every 3000 miles your Hemi engine should last a very long time the only things I have done to my charger so far is replaced the alternator the starter the MDS solenoids and D heater control switch. I did a lot of performance modifications to Mike or such as cold air intake a new cooler running thermostat I did need to replace the thermostat because there wasn't anything wrong with it but for performance I changed it. But other than that man go for it find one with lower miles for a good price and you will have the perfect car for a high school student. Great videos on this. Why are the Dorman solenoids shorter than some others out there? (The OEM one’s on some engines are longer than others). What gives? 🇨🇦

I'm not sure on that but it could be the manufacturing process
