Great instructional video. I have an HP Laptop windows 7 loaded with internet explorer 8. It was that time very well working internet explorer... But it was quite difficult for me to understand windows 8 so I formatted it and installed Windows 7 instead of windows 8...... As everyone knows windows 7 is very easy to understand.... But after installing windows 7 software whenever I open internet explorer it say that your internet explorer has been moved or removed from the device and it was not opening but after following your full steps it was not showing the commands also as it was before showing that "your internet explorer has been moved or removed from device" And now I am in big frustration because I have not any search engine in my laptop and without the internet explorer I can't open any other search engine also.... What to do please tell.... I have reset it also in the advance setting then also it is not opening the internet explorer...😭. Please help me friend...

@@aseemanandmishra4598 Internet Explorer is no longer supported so I wouldn't waste too much time getting it going as less websites will work with it as time goes on, perhaps download Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Brave or Opera from another computer and save the install file to a USB stick then plug it into your computer and run the installer for whatever browser you want to use (you can use more than 1 ).

My internet explorer won't even open up, I click it and it stays on the logo for a millisecond and then closes.. Do you have any idea what's going on? When I try to open it via desktop shortcut it says "A certificate was explicitly revoked by its issuer".

Try holding down the windows key then tap the letter R, deleted out whatever is in the run box and type, inetcpl.cpl then click OK, click Advanced, then if Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering* is not ticked then tick it, then click Apply then click OK, if Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering* is ticked then untick it, then click Apply then click OK.

Which Version of Windows are you running, as Internet Explorer 11 is not available in Windows 11.

It does actually remove it and uninstall files, and registry entries, then reinstall files and put the registry entries back.

@@cwtek1 If you remove it from your computer, you'd have to re-download it from the internet, no? I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to this kind of shit! haha. I wanted to completely remove all of IE from my computer to free up space. I did follow your advice but never reinstalled it....I was using Chrome but for some reason, without IE, it went even slower!

Chris Waite I've cleared everything and it says V9 as the Web address, inet still doesn't work but I've brought a hp stream now just to keep me going. I changed my dns number about a year back and it worked fine but do you think that may have something to do with it?
